edi287: Those are never reliable but what is clear for all of us to see is that Man City was looking to get the most money out of him. Even a club like Southampton who could have been better for his growth didn't get a look in on the deal. Musa is a striker I can't agree that Gray played too much of a factor in his treatment. IMO the real story is that Ranieri wanted to replace Jamie Vardy with Musa but Vardy rejected the deal to send him to Arsenal and that left the coach with 2 players(Vardy & Musa) with similar traits. The problem is that the media would not be honest and admit that Vardy started that season poorly, how many times did Musa lay a pass on the platter for Vardy to miss? Musa was given a bad rap. 1 Like |

Gray? Mahrez abeit from the left wing? Are both not used as wingers that Musa naturally is? To be used as a striker, he's got okaz, slimani and vardy to contest with, so where do you see him playing? Unless he outfperforms these guys, he ain't seeing nada to play. BascoVanVeli: |

As it stands now in the Belgian league, Onyekuru has 7 goals, one less than the highest scorer. Both Dennis and Awoniyi are on 5 goals. With the later having 2 assists to his name. Peter Olayinka has 4 assists to his name. Uche Agbo that is referred to many as the rough guy has played all games for standard leige but he hasn't gotten into the referee's book up to 4 times this season, meanwhile Esiti has gotten 6 bookings in the present season. Since Onyekuru left his former team for Everton, they've been struggling at the bottom of the table. 3 Likes 1 Share |

I totally understand what you're saying, but I will still insist that our players are not given as much chances as an average European or even Latin American player. The pattern has been so consistent for anyone who's been paying attention not to notice. Go and take a look at the history of our players vis-à-vis their average Euro competitors: Kanu Nwankwo was killing it at Arsenal but barely get a chance to start. Players like over the hill Dennis Bergkamp and headless chickens like Sylvain Wiltord were often preferred ahead of him. Jay Jay Okocha - for over 2 years, Jay Jay set the EPL on fire. But once he hits a short rough patch, the big Sam relegated him to the bench and took the captainship away from him. Next thing you hear, JayJay was sold to Hull City. Funny thing was thing Jayjay helped Hull to gain promotion while Bolton got relegated. Talk about "karma". Victor Obinna Nsofor - literally set the EPL on fire when he joined West Ham. Had two bad games and never smelled the starting line up again until he was sold! Victor Moses - Liverpool as a team was having a bad season after selling Suarez, the entire team was piss poor. But who got all the blame? Victor Moses ... sentenced to the bench and left there to rot until he left for West Ham. You argued that Kelechi doesn't have the pace of Vardy nor does he have the physicality of Okazaki or even Islamani (*I laugh*). But then this begs the question, why did Shakespeare decide to buy Kelechi when he knew (or ought to know) that he doesn't have the qualities he needed? And how could he (or anyone) have reached that conclusions when they have given Kelechi barely anytime to play? Why not start him for 5 consecutive games and see whether he's able to perform? Again, I am NOT crying racism here but these are just the FACTS that anybody should ignore. O pari komekn: 5 Likes |

Mickael2: Okazaki will forever remain a legend to the fans of the Foxes. You can not change that by arguing he was not a starter earlier in the season. He joined the team in 2015. He had to adapt before he became a big part of the team. On 19 December 2015, Okazaki scored the winner in a 3–2 win over Everton at Goodison Park, to ensure that Leicester City topped the table at Christmas. His performances in the 2015–16 season earned him the Asian International Player of the Year award in December 2016. Iheanacho is a young player and has club legends ahead of him. With time he will get his shot. It is a marathon and not a sprint. No one said Nacho is Real Madrid bound. The point is very simple. Nacho's quality is not up for debate. He is a quality player. Finito. |

Icon79: My standard, before critiquing a player and run him down, give him five games. That is my personal term for a run of games. The people at Leicester City know if they give Nacho a run of five games, he will deliver. As I said, his quality is not a doubt. By the way, the point of a player losing value based on not having a good season is based on newspaper hype, which to me is thrash and means nothing. What matters is the person's quality. When a good player gets a run, watch the same papers who ran the player down form a choir to praise him. What Nacho needs is to keep working hard. His chance will come and he will take it. For now, he should put over a hundred percent every time he hits the training pitch. Train as if his career depends on each training. |

KPOM! Like I had said before, my sources told me that senior players are running the show at Leicester City. Players like Vardy, Mahrez, Morgan etc. decide who plays. It's a well known fact that these Leicester players decided not to play for Claudio Ranieri in his second season because he wasn't keeping faith with the old players. He was accused of playing guys like Musa and Slimani ahead of the likes of Demari Gray, Albrighton etc. And by the way, I think they had just played the same card with Shakespeare as well I was never in support of Kelechi joining Leicester city. If you go back, you'd see that I was hoping that he would join anything but Leicester and/or West Brom. Anyway, I think the best thing for KC right now is to request a January loan move. Icon79: The only reason I can opt for Nacho staying at Leicester City is if he is waiting to get a passport. Apart from that, a move out of the EPL seems a better option to me. I will prefer Nacho a regular sub in clubs like Ajax, Villarreal, Valencia, Benfica, Dortmund etc. Clubs with history of playing free flowing attacking football and create lots of chances. Look at how Traore used Ajax to springboard his career. He must have learnt a lot about the technical side of the game at Ajax, making him an asset to whichever manager that signs him. I do not trust EPL clubs due to the coaching instability. 1 Like |

TheGoodJoe:some people are getting the jerk now.. Thank you Mr and Mrs facts.. Let me ask you people one question.. Mahrez has been underperforming for a while, a run of six /seven games, piss performance he has been chunning out.. Yet because of sentiment, he is still been played every week, same with vardy, inconsistent performance, yet playing 90 minutes every week.. Why? Past glory.. Sentiments is a part of life, and that sentiment is affecting iheanacho, like it or not, it is a fact, that iheanacho has not played two consecutive full epl games for Leicester.. Then how can you guy say he is not performing?, honestly, do you feel he has been given a chance? He comes in for 15 min, in a tough game against man city, and you expect him to score a heart trick, haba now.. A players gains form, from been played regularly, and the confidence instilled in from the coaches and fans.. And truth is that, the Leicester city coaches, fans, and the lots, still got their head wrapped in the team that won them the title, hence sentimental attachment to those players is much, like vardy, mahrez, and people like iheanacho would find it difficult perform, hence the concept of "the devil you know is better ,than the angel you don't know", even when the devils are performing badly, the angels doesn't get a chance... Hence the reason why players like slimany, musa, iheanacho would continue suffer same fate, as long players like vardy ,mahrez are still in Leicester.. They are not ready to accept something new, as long the old one is still there My piece, my opinion.... 4 Likes |

Whatever Martins did at Inter or Lazio or Celtic or Everton or even Al Ahly, is none of my business I am talking my own, let my elders talk their own. TheGoodJoe: Xavi is a club legend was he not? Does that mean he wasn't replaced when he was still active? Abidal too. Forget this club legend crap and see the thing starring at you, Iheanacho does not have the quality to bench Okazaki. How can you expect the coach of a struggling side to just give a bench warmer a run of 5 games?! Shows that you don't know the basics of coaching, Iheanacho will only depend on his performance in those cameos to get a starting shirt and he has not made any impression there so how will he get games? Or you think it's preseason? |

Mickael2:I know the Super Eagles, so as long as it concerns the team, it is not wise to keep quiet. Except you are recommending your you for some other team, it is not wise for ne to keep quiet. I have heard enough of your toy, I watched him in 2010 and his statistics are not so overwhelming, so why the fuss? People are still discussing Pele, most of whom weren't even alive when he reigned, should they also keep quiet? If you don't like what I'm saying, close your eyes from reading it It is not by force to like your Martins, so, why shove him down my throat as if he was the one that qualified the team for Russia? Where was he when we won AFCON in 2013? Why was he not important all this time we were having qualifiers? It is now that he is suddenly important and if we don't add him to the team, we will fail in Russia? Football is a TEAM game, it is not an individual sport, and unless you are Messi or C Ronaldo, one individual cannot make or break a team and certainly not the one that was never missed 2 Likes |

Humility017: False equivalency for anyone using goals per game ratio to compare players who have played an unequal number of games. No matter what side of the argument you are, it is clearly evident that the more matches you play, the less your goals per game. Otherwise, we will jump to the conclusion that a player with 3 goals in 3 matches is far better than one with 30 goals in 40 matches. Let's not use statistics blindly. Martins had 8 goals in his first 7 matches for Nigeria (over a goal per game average). Does that did that make him better than KC when he had played just 8 matches for the SE? Every player's goals per game ration slides the more games you play. Kelechi's goal per game ratio has and will continue to go down the more games they play and that doesn't take anything away from his quality. 1 Like |

Brace scored by Emmanuel Bonaventure Dennis in Lokeren 0-4 Club Brugge https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sjcyYyea-B4 Look at the first goal he scored. The defender together with the goalkeeper managed to close up on him, yet he still had the confidence to slot the ball pass the goalkeeper in between his legs. This guy can become a deadly striker. Will he be eligible to play for the next U20? |
