When u see someone who's blessed with the favour of God,won't u know? The favour of God is written all over him nah,it's just up to him to utilize it well.
Yea such favour only exists in an unideal society where good performance is overlook and man know man reign supremely.

Bros, are you kidding me??

Dennis Bergkamp was great player. I wasn't gonna argue that but, at the time we're talking about, he was on his last legs - when Kanu came to Arsenal. And based on productivity alone, he shouldn't be starting ahead of an inform and red-hot Kanu Nwankwo. Yes, in Arsenal, Wiltord played as a support striker to Thierry Henry. So he was a direct competitor to Kanu.

Victor Obinna started pretty hot at West Ham. He might not have scored many goals but he was definitely one of their best players for the first couple of months after he joined. I am not here claiming that Obinna was world class but he did have a few good weeks and was definitely good enough to start for that West Ham team.

bros, this your post get as e be, to start with wiltord was a winger, Kanu doesn't even come close to bergkamp that's just the truth bergkamp once came third in the FIFA World Best, okocha was battling with injuries towards the end of his Bolton career and he didn't exactly play a huge part in hull city's promotion he played 18 times with no goal, mostly coming from the bench and nsofor lighting up the epl? very funny. that guy was at best average. let's stop talking like only Nigerians are blacks playing in the epl, what I know is if you are good you'll play and if you are not you'll tey for bench
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Icon79(m): 3:29pm On Dec 01, 2017
He should forget the passport and resurrect his career first. And I agree that his game is more suited for the leagues of La Liga or Bundesliga. But even if he wants to stay in EPL, I am pretty sure that there are quite a few teams that can take him up on loan: Everton still needs a top striker. And I am sure that folks like Big Sam and Alan Pardew would like to work with him too. Pardew is little crazy but he's a damn good coach. I definitely won't mind KC playing for him.

TheGoodJoe:

The only reason I can opt for Nacho staying at Leicester City is if he is waiting to get a passport. Apart from that, a move out of the EPL seems a better option to me.

I will prefer Nacho a regular sub in clubs like Ajax, Villarreal, Valencia, Benfica, Dortmund etc. Clubs with history of playing free flowing attacking football and create lots of chances.

Look at how Traore used Ajax to springboard his career. He must have learnt a lot about the technical side of the game at Ajax, making him an asset to whichever manager that signs him.

I do not trust EPL clubs due to the coaching instability.

Safari, do City fans want to see Arsenal beat Utd? I'm guessing so but would take a wager on a score draw sad angry

This is the Super Eagles Thread

It is not the EPL or Serie A or LA Liga thread. Whatever Martins did at Inter or Lazio or Celtic or Everton or even Al Ahly, is none of my business

I am talking my own, let my elders talk their own. Some of them do not have the same joyous memories of Martins like others do.

Once again, it was never my toy sef, it's a hand me down, so why should I want it back after trashing it?

And by the way, I can bet you that Nigeria and Morocco (or Senegal) would be in the group of death. FIFA is a fraud.

And by the way, here's one non-group of death group I would like to avoid:

Belgium
Uruguay
Costa Rica
Nigeria

That group is loaded with dark horses - from A to Z grin

Question marks over Nigeria's defence

John Bennett

BBC World Service

They'll have the youngest squad in Russia and it's a new generation of talent that is giving the Nigeria fans real hope for the future. There is competition for places in attack with the likes of Kelechi Iheanacho, Alex Iwobi, Odion Ighalo and Victor Moses who was their best player in qualifying playing in a more advanced role than at Chelsea.

Captain John Mikel Obi and Wilfried Ndidi also give them a lot of solidity in midfield. There are questions marks about their defence and the goalkeeper but a 4-2 win over Argentina last month made a lot of people stand up and take notice of this Nigeria team. German head coach Gernot Rohr is a calming presence in the dugout and they've already agreed their bonuses, so there should be no repeat of the money rows in Brazil.

O pari master you mean Wenger that gave Kanu lifeline after heart surgery was sentimental by preferring Bergkamp and Witord ahead of him.

Kanu had his best football career at arsenal,at least good playing time compared to his previous clubs and post arsenal era.

the bolded...meaning nacho has an average of 1,62 games per goal...and martins 2.27
they're both not on the same class whenever the super eagles is mentioned....

I have been reading up on yol's posts about Martins and all... Well, I'm definitely certain of one thing; if martins gets a little game time during the friendlies next year in the SE with just as the same arsenal gunning behind him just as iheanacho and ighalo has currently, he'll definitely prove his worth.. Then again, make una let Rohr do him thing. I have a feeling we'll be impressed come Russia..

Trust me, I love Arsene Wenger to death and I would never accuse him of racism in any way, shape or form. However, those are the facts. Facts are facts. And you can't deny facts.

There's what we call "unconscious bias". Some of these managers are NOT doing it to be racist or because they are racists, but sometimes their perceptions .... the way they analyze things can be colored based on the individual concerned.

When England sets up a team similar to this, then I believe they will be a big threat to other European teams.

No doubt about that.

Do you honestly think Martins will knock Iheanacho out from the team?
All of you for or against Martins, trust your players that they will win the battle in the battlefield.

. Anyone who disputes Iheanacho's contributions to the team definitely doesn't know what he/she is talking about. I strongly want Martins back but definitely not at the expense of Iheanacho.

some people are getting the jerk now.. Thank you

Mr and Mrs facts.. Let me ask you people one question..

Mahrez has been underperforming for a while, a run of six /seven games, piss performance he has been chunning out.. Yet because of sentiment, he is still been played every week, same with vardy, inconsistent performance, yet playing 90 minutes every week..
Why? Past glory.. Sentiments is a part of life, and that sentiment is affecting iheanacho, like it or not, it is a fact, that iheanacho has not played two consecutive full epl games for Leicester.. Then how can you guy say he is not performing?,
honestly, do you feel he has been given a chance?

He comes in for 15 min, in a tough game against man city, and you expect him to score a heart trick, haba now.. A players gains form, from been played regularly, and the confidence instilled in from the coaches and fans..

And truth is that, the Leicester city coaches, fans, and the lots, still got their head wrapped in the team that won them the title, hence sentimental attachment to those players is much, like vardy, mahrez, and people like iheanacho would find it difficult perform, hence the concept of "the devil you know is better ,than the angel you don't know", even when the devils are performing badly, the angels doesn't get a chance...

Hence the reason why players like slimany, musa, iheanacho would continue suffer same fate, as long players like vardy ,mahrez are still in Leicester..

They are not ready to accept something new, as long the old one is still there

My piece, my opinion....
. Couldn't have said it any better. Let those who wanna accept the truth accept it.

you will agree wit me.....the Italian clubs at one time....won UEFA champions league...
and moreover in Europe there exist more competitors than in Asia...
an english championship side will beat that Martins team silly.....

and for nacho....i quite understand your innate reason why you rate Martins ahead I him.....

it would have called for concern if someone like rohr toil same line...

because everyone who is currently conversant wit the super eagles...play wit a fair and unbiased mind knows he is well ahead of Martins whenever the super eagles is mentioned...

martins could not attain his feet for super eagles at his age....
Are you aware Martins scored 11 goals in his first 15 games for us?? Nacho is good but it's like Komekn, Mickael2, etc have been saying - we tend to overhype him on here sometimes.
The funny thing is people are asking for Martins to just get a look in. There was a time when people thought Ighalo was done with us and NACHO was our undisputed first choice. Invite Martins and test him in a few games and decide if he's good enough...simple!!
