Bros, are you kidding me?? Dennis Bergkamp was great player. I wasn't gonna argue that but, at the time we're talking about, he was on his last legs - when Kanu came to Arsenal. And based on productivity alone, he shouldn't be starting ahead of an inform and red-hot Kanu Nwankwo. Yes, in Arsenal, Wiltord played as a support striker to Thierry Henry. So he was a direct competitor to Kanu. Victor Obinna started pretty hot at West Ham. He might not have scored many goals but he was definitely one of their best players for the first couple of months after he joined. I am not here claiming that Obinna was world class but he did have a few good weeks and was definitely good enough to start for that West Ham team. O pari jihday: |

He should forget the passport and resurrect his career first. And I agree that his game is more suited for the leagues of La Liga or Bundesliga. But even if he wants to stay in EPL, I am pretty sure that there are quite a few teams that can take him up on loan: Everton still needs a top striker. And I am sure that folks like Big Sam and Alan Pardew would like to work with him too. Pardew is little crazy but he's a damn good coach. I definitely won't mind KC playing for him. Question marks over Nigeria's defence John Bennett BBC World Service They'll have the youngest squad in Russia and it's a new generation of talent that is giving the Nigeria fans real hope for the future. There is competition for places in attack with the likes of Kelechi Iheanacho, Alex Iwobi, Odion Ighalo and Victor Moses who was their best player in qualifying playing in a more advanced role than at Chelsea. Captain John Mikel Obi and Wilfried Ndidi also give them a lot of solidity in midfield. There are questions marks about their defence and the goalkeeper but a 4-2 win over Argentina last month made a lot of people stand up and take notice of this Nigeria team. German head coach Gernot Rohr is a calming presence in the dugout and they've already agreed their bonuses, so there should be no repeat of the money rows in Brazil. 2 Likes |

Icon79:O pari master you mean Wenger that gave Kanu lifeline after heart surgery was sentimental by preferring Bergkamp and Witord ahead of him. Kanu had his best football career at arsenal,at least good playing time compared to his previous clubs and post arsenal era. 1 Like |

Humility017: I have been reading up on yol's posts about Martins and all... Well, I'm definitely certain of one thing; if martins gets a little game time during the friendlies next year in the SE with just as the same arsenal gunning behind him just as iheanacho and ighalo has currently, he'll definitely prove his worth.. Then again, make una let Rohr do him thing. I have a feeling we'll be impressed come Russia.. |

Trust me, I love Arsene Wenger to death and I would never accuse him of racism in any way, shape or form. However, those are the facts. Facts are facts. And you can't deny facts. There's what we call "unconscious bias". Some of these managers are NOT doing it to be racist or because they are racists, but sometimes their perceptions .... the way they analyze things can be colored based on the individual concerned. Humility017:Are you aware Martins scored 11 goals in his first 15 games for us?? Nacho is good but it's like Komekn, Mickael2, etc have been saying - we tend to overhype him on here sometimes. The funny thing is people are asking for Martins to just get a look in. There was a time when people thought Ighalo was done with us and NACHO was our undisputed first choice. Invite Martins and test him in a few games and decide if he's good enough...simple!! 2 Likes |
