Some teams naturally attract themselves. Nobody can do anything about. Just like Arsenal vs Bayern Munich/Barcelona, Man Utd vs Porto/Benefica, England vs Malta/Azerbaijan, Ngr Vs Argentina. Thats just that. Before this draw,I didn't take anyone who predicted we won't be grouped with Argentina serious. |

Tricky draw. All 3 teams will be difficult to beat. I'm not that confident of us qualifying o 2 Likes |

KevinDein:bro...don't be surprised one of either Nigeria Nigeria or Argentina will not make it pass the group stage...because one of those European nations may likely qualify... |

Actually our group is the trickiest of all the groups. I’d rather be in Morocco’s group. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by goldfish80(m): 5:05pm On Dec 01, 2017 |
On the flip side, if we manage to come tops in this group, we could potentially meet a kind opponent in Denmark, Peru or Australia. Anything short of 1st from this group, we will be facing France in the last 16. We must gon for 1st position! |

Portugal would not advance out of that group if Morocco can get their acts together. O pari Danycrusoe: 2 Likes |

Edopesin:Our group is low key the group of death. I hope Rohr doesn't underestimate Iceland. As it is, Argentina and Croatia are favs to qualify. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by KevinDein: 5:06pm On Dec 01, 2017 |
Humility017:Croatia is the bigger headache of the two European teams. They have too much quality; Modric, Perisic, Rakitic, etc. Genuine world class players playing for the very best teams in Europe. It's a tricky group, but not an insurmountable challenge. And, oh, Iceland would be the whipping boys |

Egypt got the easiest draw out of the African teams. Morocco is a close second 1 Like |

Senegal, Egypt got good draws. Tunisia is the weakest African team and England and Belgium would be glad to have them of all the African countries. Nigeria and Morocco, the best hope for the continent got drawn in the trickiest groups. 4 Likes |

That juju that joins Nigeria with Argentina in every World cup is very strong. We should beat Croatia and Ireland, then draw Argentina 1 Like |

We can beat them again.. as long as we don’t underrate any team and we don’t fear any team we’d be fine oloriooko: |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Icon79(m): 5:11pm On Dec 01, 2017 |
It's all fixed. England would always get an easy draw. And the hosts would always get the easiest draw. And the potentially strong teams from Africa would get some of the toughest draw. It's a rigged system. O pari goldfish80: 1 Like |

Croatia and Argentina suit our style of play. Iceland will be tricky if they adopt long ball tactics. That's where we will struggle. We will come tops. Nigeria and Croatia to go through. 1 Like |

African teams were really favoured in the groupings. We just need to work very hard to achieve good results. |
