No they can't. They are on student visas with restriction on working hours.

No company operating legally will give them work beyond the restrictions of their visas.

Plus any reasonable graduate work will very likely require them to work fulltime, beyond the working hours permitted for their student visas.

Do a menial job with their restricted working hours? They will barely make enough money to feed, pay rent and pay their bills, let alone save over £10,000 for their tuition.

I hope I was able to paint a good enough picture for you?

well I won't argue with u .u just said the basic fact and we all know that.
there re thousands of students in d UK and all of them can't be on scholarship.
some don't even have wealthy parents but one way or other they were able to do something and graduate.
we see them.we hear different stories of survivers and u must have seen or heard too.

Yeah, we all hear stories.
These stories are the exceptions, not the norm. So I won't judge the many unlucky ones going through hard times using the few lucky ones as a standard.

Personally I don't know any of the so-called lucky ones who just happen to work and hustle their way RIGHTLY throughout the hardship without some support from someone or somewhere.

The few people I know who supported themselves lived through hell. Either piling up a huge debt, getting suspended by the school, giving up by themselves, or getting into trouble with authorities while trying to hustle.

To make life easier, some students end up switching to a different visa category with no working restrictions, suspend school for a while and hustle. This is also not an easy route, it works for some but fail many others too.

wat are u saying.most Nigerians travel out of the country with visiting. dependent, different visas but later through help, connect and luck are making it and doing well now.
more than 80% of Nigerians in the UK,
didn't travel with visas to work.am sure of this one but they were able to find a way out.
we are all hustlers.don't wait for someone to push u.find ur way

people wish to travel with any visa.u must have seen people that went on visit and all sort of visa but came back after so many years to be successful

I appreciate ur talk.
pls nobody should quote me again.

They should find a way of returning home and enroll for tuition free in any of the Federal Universities since there is no money to keep funding they education abroad.

Hahaha, I have said it several times on this platform and some lunatics came insulting me, telling me that they are patriotic Nigerians, Nigeria is a useless wicked jungle and I suggest it should be sold off on eBay to richer nations, Nigeria will soon become the country with the highest number of poor people by February 2018, l pity those who live in delusion thinking that things will change, the useless politicians are feeding fat while the masses are dying, what a useless country, it is better to be a 6th class citizen in the West and fulfill your destiny than to be proud of a useless country called Nigeria angry
Is anyone forcing you to live in Nigeria??! sad Biko, if you hate Naija so much, renounce your citizenship, tear yah passport and hop on the next plane to any country that you consider to be a paradise. Di thing no hard, o!
