Yes Naturally it was part of our culture to have more than one ... infact those days it showed wealth to take care of all of them .... so I Guess that mentality stems from there Yes I believe so |

Lalas247: Its not a culture thing. Its something designed by nature itself. |

Humans generally are polygamous in nature. We are never contented with what we possess and crave for more. 3 Likes |

MhizzAJ: I agree to your comment's I see truth in it.. Speaking in generality,You can say that again. Humans are polygamous by nature. Historically, both sexes have been known to have multiple sexual partners at the same time. Monogamy is a relatively new concept and and I think humans are naturally promiscuous and not monogamous. Very few animals in the animal kingdom including humans are polygamous rather than monogamous. Scientists have proven that only three to five percent of animals are truly monogamous by nature and the rest are polygamous. For a very long time in human civilization it was considered normal to have many lovers at the same time, applying to both men and women. Monogamy is used to suppress and repress human sexuality for unknown reasons and is a challenge for many people. If humans were monogamous then why do we look at other people of the opposite sex when we're in a monogamous relationship? We simply can't help it because we're designed and wired to do that. I feel humans are programmed this way and in the past century or so it's been abandoned and stigmatized. I don't think any human being can really stay true to one person in their lives. This all comes to show that we're meant to be polygamous as opposed to monogamous. By this statement I ve only spoken in generality ... 2 Likes |

biggie10: Or husbands It’s very rare to see a woman with two husbands infact I have never seen it .. so it’s a guy thing Ok explain let me understand your point |
Re: Are Men Naturally Polygamous? by Nobody: 10:04am On Dec 02, 2017 |
Lalas247: Humans are generally wired to be polygamous. I. E to want everything we desire for ourselves. Its when you come down to Africa that we tag it mostly as being married to two or more partners. |

biggie10:But this is not the case with other countries .... so I don’t believe it’s natural it’s ignorance , culture and tradition Now a born again Christian will say it’s against God wish to have more than one wife A Muslim is allowed up to 4 ... now they use that a lot to justify why they can’t be satisfied and fulfilled with one woman ... now that RELIGION not natural 4 Likes 1 Share |

Both male and female do have the tendency. This is where the fear of God, self control and great contentment are very important in the live of one, whether male or female. 1 Like |

MhizzAJ: Man by nature, in his unreformed state will go for polygamy. He is greedy and insatiable. The scripture will say the heart of man is desperately wicked. Only a man redeemed in Christ has the capacity for good. He does that which is good because the Spirit of the living God in him assists him and make him do what he naturally will not do. Everything about him becomes new, old things pass away. It is why people are encouraged to live godly lives and thus open eyes to seek godly spouses. |

Re: Are Men Naturally Polygamous? by Prognose: 10:31pm On Dec 02, 2017 |
Lalas247: It has nothing to do with culture. Men are naturally polygamous. They have been so even before biblical times. It is this monogamy that is causing problems up and down. Nowadays men are polygamous, they just do it in secret. Hence the term side-chick. When you ladies are ready to accept the truth then there will be peace. Until then keep stabbing all the men you claim to love, you're just reducing the population of men and making polygamy more of a certainty. 1 Like |

Prognose:It is a matter of Opinion to be honest There are many cases where guys are not polygamous or have “side chics” But it’s wrong married or in a committed relationship and stepping out ! God doesn’t support that ... I can never accept it ... |
Re: Are Men Naturally Polygamous? by Prognose: 10:50pm On Dec 02, 2017 |
Lalas247:Wow! I was expecting your answer to be more caustic. Nice response. OK back to the matter. I do not expect you to accept it. You're a woman after all. But those cases of guys who don't have side chics? My money is on the fact that they haven't been caught yet. Everyday you see one sobstory or the other of a woman who "suddenly" caught her previously faithful husband cheating. Social media blows it up and it's becomes a sensational story. Sympathizing female folk advice her to be strong and quit her marriage. Emotions run high. The whole brouhaha runs for about a week. And then another wife makes another heartbreaking discovery. The cycle repeats itself again and again and again, over and over. My dear even pastors cheat. It's in the nature of man to be frivolous. And the modern woman is making it even easier. Modern girls now prefer married men and even go out of their way to entice them and send unsolicited nudes. This ain't no fairytale, it is happening live. You want a side chick go to Shoprite with your gold wedding ring blazing for all its worth. You will still have your pick. It just takes the grace of God for men not fall to temptation nowadays. The few virtuous men will fall at least once or twice and repent. But the baaaaad men, the ones you call "cheats", will gorge themselves with women until they can't think straight and then they get careless and get caught. Men are naturally polygamous. Even in the New Testament they had to caution the men to be responsible and have only one wife. And to be honest they were referring to the bishops. Look at your Bible and say it ain't so. 1 Like |

Humans are polygamous in nature. All humans. Only the selfish half seek to suppress the sexuality of others while making excuses as to why they should be allowed to indulge. 2 Likes |
