I had 281 as my average and my CAPS is still showing not admitted. Can it change directly from not admitted to admitted?

Maybe you should continue checking am sure it will show up cos I think the are doing these thing by faculty in alphabetical mode

I think these admission stuff on caps is been done in faculties alphabetically.. Administration, agriculture, art, education, engineering, environmental design, law, medicine, pharmaceutical science, social science, vetinary medicine
So the are on pharmaceutical science now..
That's my thoughts though cos even mine is showing admission in progress and am in social science faculty so am hoping we are next

But,why are u shouting 281 upandan here sef? Are we admission officers here? I have friends with 298,300,300+ but,are yet to be offered admission.
2 things might be involved, 1:- Since you are not from the catchment area,someone from your state might have scored 282,283, and upward. Which has made u to be exempted from the merit list,since only one person is taking from each states that are not catchment to ABU
2:- Or they are Yet to get to your turn since the CAPS thing is a gradual process.
The guy with 256 might be from the catchment areas or ELDS or they are actually in his own turn.
so,all u need is prayer

And even if the guy with 256 is not from catchment area,he might be the one that scored highest from his state

It's based on merit, catchment area, elds, and also the competition from your state
