Belgium, with just 10 million people, is roughly the size of the SE. However, Belgium has a larger GDP than Nigeria


Austria is just roughly the size of the SE with just 9 million people. But Austria has a bigger GDP than Nigeria.

What I think happened was, that in the days of none or limited data, the Lagos-Ibadan press so much hyped the south west till everyone on both sides started to believe the lies about the large size of the SW in comparison to the size of the SE and SS.

I guess the stupidity of most Nigerians does not have a limit. South Korea is 38, 691 sq mi in size while Nigeria is 356,669 sq mi. Can anybody in his/her correct senses begin to compare the advancement and development of South Korea with that of Nigeria? It will be an absurdity in waste of time because there is no advancement or development in Nigeria. One of the reasons Nigeria in particular and Africa in general do not develop is lack of critical thinking. Land mass without development is like Sahara Desert
