Una think say na only Naija get sense abi? You for pay na? They use small price to draw ur attention, and hit you hard once in. That said, you should at least know if your car drives smooth or you're confident in the state of the car coz safety is paramount. You don't wanna be matching 110km/hr when the car stall. You mustn't fix everything but the critical issues listed and plan the rest for later, Or probably sell and buy another. That's if you suspect something is wrong with the car; otherwise no stress! kamotisha: Same happened to us as well as we plan to transfer our money there before leaving Nigeria. But I'm guessing we will just wait till we arrive. If you ever find a way, please let me know will you? Thank you. |

kamotisha: I believe on every bank's website, there will be an account for migrants. I don't know what NAB calls theirs. You can open account prior to arrival if you choose the right account. I opened an account before I arrived. |

Horticulturist: There are so many platforms for money transfer including using bank for wire transfer to domiciliary accounts. @Oknee, Worldremit's price is not competitive. |

Horticulturist: You can also use www.moneydrop.com. their rate are always higher than that of world remit |

kamotisha: Yeeshas: In addition to the link Alphadoor posted, I used this https://www.nationalaustraliabank.com/nabglobal/migrant When you click "Apply" it opens the same form >> https://www.nationalaustraliabank.com/australian-account I have since completed my account opening using my Nigerian address and phone number (no money to send yet ). It was a smooth process. Your account number is sent to you via email in about 24-48 hours. You'll also be sent your internet log in details via a seperate email (for security reasons) another 24 hours after. Read the instructions on the PDF attachment containing your acct details carefully. 2 Likes |

Teejah80: I worried about that for a while until I reasoned I could always open with another bank if not satisfied. However, I considered factors such as the branch network, ATM distribution, charges etc Individual preferences is the determinant jare. Same way some of us won't give up our GT for any other bank despite their 'funny' charges. Personally, I'd suggest NAB for now (or rather, I went for NAB). You can always open another. 1 Like 1 Share |

Vinsmuft: Most of the mechanics say timing belt is due for replacement every 100,000 kms. The reading as at the last time it was replaced is usually written on the timing belt cover. However, most people dont do it and just keep driving the car like that. Although $1200 is a bit on the high side especially considering how much you bought it. |
