A heartbroken Nigerian lady took to Twitter to narrate the incident that led to her friend’s death, even after he was taken to LUTH (Lagos State University Teaching Hospital).

According to her, her friend died because there was no bed space, and when a bed space was found, there was no consultant at LUTH at the time he was admitted.

Public hospitals are ran just like public schools, government care less as those in government make no use of them!

People always find someone to blame when they lose a loved one.

The truth is, the lack of bed space or absence of consultants was not what killed the man.

What killed him is Mr. Death.


Blame death and not LUTH nor the Doctors.

It happens everyday in most general and teaching hospitals,many lives are wasted due to this negligence

The number of people entering that place a day is always high,she should have been taken else where tho!... ;(

This is not a shocking news. What is shocking is that we expected a sick hospital can actually treat sick people. The hospitals needed to treat themselves first.

If Buhari was treated in a nigerian hospital, would he have been alive to kwantinyu chewing his gworo gworo and be speaking his Hausa-english? Nigerian hospitals and negligence are the same thing.

The Nigerian health sector is nonsense!
Your friend's case is one among thousands of death that occurs on daily basis due to the negligence of their responsibility- TO SAVE LIVES!

Those people were "technically" not sick. They only thought they were sick. If indeed they were sick, they won't survive in a Nigerian hospital.
