Jochabed:The truth is that I have a good feeling about Atiku. This is how Donald Trump won. Arrogant statements by opponents. He is doing what PMB failed to do. Engage us. So far, Atiku is in a pivotal position. He can bring a young person as a VP. No young person can be the anchor for now. But Atiku can win PMB. Make dem debate. PMB has focused too much on accountability at the expense of economic activity. Who cares if you save $30b and squeeze the people of survival? |

geometricaxis: Stop all this sermon! You can't build something on nothing. Without his based Certificate which is waec, others are meaningless. If I lost my WAEC Cert, I can always get it back when requested not bringing SANs to defend me. Mr man, stop preaching and tell Buhari to present his School Certificate 1 Like 1 Share |

“Abubakar Case History. From 2000 to 2008, Jennifer Douglas, a U.S. citizen and the fourth wife of Atiku Abubakar, former Vice President and former candidate for President of Nigeria, helped her husband bring over $40 million in suspect funds into the United States through wire transfers sent by offshore corporations to U.S. bank accounts. In a 2008 civil complaint, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission alleged that Ms. Douglas received over $2 million in bribe payments in 2001 and 2002, from Siemens AG, a major German corporation. While Ms. Douglas denies wrongdoing, Siemens has already pled guilty to U.S. criminal charges and settled civil charges related to bribery and told the Subcommittee that it sent the payments to one of her U.S. accounts. In 2007, Mr. Abubakar was the subject of corruption allegations in Nigeria related to the Petroleum Technology Development Fund.” This is an excerpt from The US Senate Report on Foreign Corruption in US. Read between the lines and it should soon be apparent that the moment Abubakar Atiku steps foot on US soil he’s game for US Prosecutors. That’s who you want as President? |

id911: This is who you want to run Nigeria? A man trained and paid at public expense to watch what was being transported in and out of Nigeria who gets involved in private transportation business on the same route opens himself up to conflict of interests in the discharge of his duties. Such conduct is not only contrary to the General Orders of the Public Service which forbids a public servant from involvement in profit-oriented endeavors other than agriculture it is also unpatriotic, fraudulent, deceitful and most dishonest. Is that what he commends to the youth as “entrepreneurship”? By his own admission Atiku has been busy at dishonest conduct as a public official since 1971 and sees nothing unethical and unlawful about that! He validates the position of folks who tar him as corruption articulated! |

dunkem21:Business and leadership are two different things. Comparing them makes you sound like an illiterate. A business leader can hire and fire at will, the Nigerian president cannot fire at will. A business leader can restructure his business when he feels the need to do so, the Nigerian president can't. The goal of a business leader is to make profit, the goal of a president should be to make it's citizens happy and that is a different issue on its own. 1 Like 1 Share |

I understand ur argument I wouldn't, t vote an still too if there was a better politician from d north that would dare to voice out the truth has it is when it comes to restructuring, etc that are d demands of the south. But would rather not go against the northern proclamation as it is still atiku has been d only one speaking about reviewing our constitution and operating a regional system of governance like it was before. Even ur buhari will not even go there because he can't go against d northern caliphate has day is where is votes lies. Still remains d only candidate from d north dat can bridge the gap BTW the North and d south in regards to Wat we all want. If u have a better candidate den tell me. Impenia: |

waveman2:The bold is part of your statement is one of the fundamental issues with Nigeria. We don't read, We think emotionally rather than logically. Constitutional review is the work of the Senate not the President. Atiku knows he can fool people like you so he will keep saying it just to get your vote. |

iamblisz: The current Minister of Agriculture was screened for a political appoitnment by the late father of the current senate president who coincidentally was the then senate president over 40 years ago. So what's your point please? Attack his idealogy not because he's been in government before. P.S All past VPs were in passive mode when they were in governement. |

id911: let me educate you: 1) In many Universities, you dont need "o" levels to do a 1st degree, you can apply as a mature student with experience 2) In many Universities, you dont need a 1st degree to do a masters degree, you can apply and tender relevant industry experience 3) You dont even need a Ph.D to be a professor the qualification requirement for elected office in Nigeria is a minimum of school leaving certificate so whether or not he has one is irrelevant because he has qualifications that are above SLC. Please go back to school and learn what "Minimum" means. the problem with our country is not so much the leadership because the leadership will misbehave only to the extent the electorate tolerate. The problem as is clearly illustrated by your posts is that in spite of education, the number of certified morons that constitute our electorate and thus who vote and determine our leaders far and overwhelmingly exceed the thinking and reasonable citizens and so we will ALWAYS be led and surrounded by morons, both in the leadership and in our everyday lives. It's rather ironic that someone who no doubt will claim to have a degree is obsessing over whether or not his president can produce a school leaving certificate. If despite your degree you are incapable of rational thought, why would you think someone with a school leaving certificate would do better? It is for that reason (lack of critical thinking) that you fail to realise that Atiku is no different from Buhari as far as your future and that of your children is concerned, we will still not have electricity, good education or good health services or roads, whichever one of them is president.....and that my friend is the bottom line. |
