I studied Computer Science at B. SC. Going for an M. Sc in Statistical Analysis, Computing and Modelling but i-20 stated it as Mathematics and Statistics, hence, I now use that and say with a concentration I'm Statistical Analysis computing and modelling.

As at when you went for the last interview, did you have a bad GRE score or didn't write it at all? Did you present low account balance or nothing at all? Did you apply to a lowly ranked school and have now applied and got admission to a better school?... A new VO is going to interview you, usually, based on the notes of the previous one. So, if nothing really concrete has changed, I would stick with things along the lines of you feeling you weren't able to convince the previous VO you are a genuine student despite supporting facts presented.

I need to submit a statement of account with the certificate of financial support i printed online of which my sponsor doesn't have up to the required amount that is suppose to be on the statement but he has 12 million on his treasury bill investment certificate. Please can i upload that in place of the bank statement of account?

You should be asking your school this question but anyway I dont think you can. They need proof of readily available funds.

is he the owner of the company? Or does his name show on the names of directors in the company's CAC forms? You need to clarify this. If he's the owner, he only needs to issue you a signed letter of support to go with bank statement and that CAC form that lists the company's director and their shares. If he's not the company's owner and his name is not on the directors allotted shares, it would be an attempt to explain how water finds its way into the coconut.

Submit what they asked for, no shortcuts. If you truly cannot afford to school in the United States, then please stay home.

Most universities treat this with deferment of the admission to the following semester. Having to reapply sounds somehow but the best thing to do is to write to the school and have the old I-20 updated. They only have to change the resumption date on it and every other thing remains. Traveling with the new I-20 is some risky adventure. I believe you are aware that the visa your friend already has is clearly anotated. Do not make a move that will jeopardize your life and career. Simply talk to school concerning updating the old I-20.

I have a question for my friend please. She applied to a University for Fall 2017, the admission was given, I-20 sent and SEVIS number issued but she wasn't able to meet up with the school's admission date although she has already gotten visa. The University advised she reapplies for Spring term which she has done already. But now, they are issuing a new I-20 with a new SEVIS number different from the one on her visa.

Can she travel to USA with the visa that bears the old SEVIS number or she has to go back to the embassy, pay another visa fee, to rectify it?

SEVIS fee can only be paid by someone in the US. There's no other ways.

As at the time of my last interview (Tuesday last week):
1. My GRE score was 299 (149 V, 150 Q and 4.0 AW) which the VO requested and I presented to her.
2. She didn't ask for my sponsor's bank statement. Just asked me who he is and what he does.
3. I applied to 3 schools, however i had admits from Texas A & M University, Kingsville Texas and Indiana University, Southbend, Inidiana. I chose the first anyway cos they offered my concentration, gave me free in-campus housing scholarship and a tuition waiver which will qualify me to pay my tuition like an in-state Texan resident. Texas A&M University though offered me Statistical Analysis, Computing and Modelling (though I-20 had it as Maths and Statistics, while Indiana University offered me Applied Maths and Computer Science. I chose TAMUK cos they had a lot of courses that will ensure I become a big data analyst. Courses like big data computing and analytics, applied predictive analytics, numerical analysis, to mention but a few.

That's all I can point out with regards your response Ma. I appreciate your response and hope to learn and read more from you.

Your father should write a letter of sponsorship using his company letter head since he his the owner of the company, also go along with his CAC document to strengthen you proof. I think that should help you very well.

I currently have 3years experience in my Field.
In filling the 'Employment History' section of the Ds-160 form, the only previous engagement I have is the NYSC engagement (which was not related to my field). Is it necessary to include it in the form as I have seen questions like "what have you been doing since you graduated" pop up during interviews and people make reference to NYSC when responding to this question. Please help..........
