The SW houses the overwhelming majority of Nigerian industries and registered companies, financial institutions, universities, educational institutions and research centers, hospitals etc. I'm not sure why this is somehow an argument. Sure, most of all that is in Lagos (and lately shifting to Ogun), but still....it would be a fact that the SW is by a considerable margin, the most developed region in the country.

Funny though posting random pictures of dilapidated schools in the SE when everybody, except they're sheltered princesses that think only Lagos Island and V.I is the South West, knows just as many of such schools (and far worse than the pictures posted) exist in the SW. Just one single google search of dilapidated schools in Ogun will reveal pictures of schools like those below. I'd be here all day long if I chose to start posting pictures of dilapidated schools, decayed infrastructure, urban and rural slums etc from the SW, so why the self-deception?
Ohhhh, that nice. But with the way you people shout, I thought all the schools in the east are like that of Alabama. You want to go google, I think you know you are deceiving yourself as well. What do you want to say about the dilapidated schools in anambra, your heaven, imo and enugu. Why don't you remove the log in your eyes first. If you want to search google, let go with it. When your brothers were posting 70s picture of Ibadan, you didn't cry. Keep on deceiving yourself bro.

Are you high on something or simply stewpid?. When did I say there are no dilapidated schools in the SE. The very point I made was that in light of the fact that just about every state in Nigeria has such decayed facilities, it's silly to be posting pictures of schools in the SE as if such schools don't exist in the SW. I've simply said if I'm jobless enough to commit myself to it, I could be here all day long posting pictures of decrepit schools all over the SW.

He's trying to take over from where his brothers left off, but he's being deceptive and at the same time trying to shift the goal post while acting like he's sensible and unbiased. He missed the part where his brothers claimed and beat their chests endlessly that they are the most developed, but he's here vibrating and trying to shift the goal post after proving that they are not even close to the word development.

In a bid to ensure a uniform development of the country’s educational sector, the Federal Government, over 25 years ago, formulated a policy of granting some preference to candidates seeking admission into universities across the country, from states that are termed educationally less developed. Most states of the north, and a few ones from the South-South and Southeast fall in this category. They include Bayelsa, Ebonyi, Jigawa, Zamfara, Adamawa, Bauchi, Benue, Borno, Cross River, Gombe, Jigawa, Kano, Kaduna, Katsina, Kebbi, Kogi, Kwara, Nasarawa, Niger, Plateau, Rivers, Sokoto, Taraba and Yobe.

Google National Literacy Survey by National Bureau of Statistics grin grin

The National Bureau of Statistics has the vision of becoming one of the foremost and modern
knowledge-based national statistical offices in Africa and indeed the world. The vision is being
gradually accomplished by sticking strictly to the mission to generate on continuous and
sustainable basis, socio-economic statistics on all facets of development in Nigeria. One of the
many ways of accomplishing the mission is collaboration with various Government Ministries,
Departments, Public and Private Agencies to provide relevant data for the enhancement of
development in Nigeria.
The National Literacy Survey has been conducted to provide relevant information necessary to
monitor the pattern of youth and adult literacy rates, as well as determine the magnitude of drop
out among children aged 6-14 years.
This collaboration between the National Bureau of Statistics and the National Commission for
Mass Literacy, Adult and Non Formal Education (NMEC) is not the first of its kind. Previous
collaboration has produced baseline data for monitoring and evaluation of literacy programmes
in the country. The current survey provide estimates at smaller areas than the previous once for
which estimates were provided at national and state levels only. The estimates provided at LGA
level will of course meet the needs of the users, most especially planners, policy makers,
researchers and other users in the field of education.
