joeace2020: The media sold this gibberish to sell paper, them the trolls from the other clubs looking for something to hold on against him latched on it to show their hate, then our apoĺlo analyst fans ignorantly joined the bandwagon to push the agenda. Even if it's Messi, ofcourse Ronaldos fan must find something to discredit him with, I am too experienced in terms of football "turn turn" to be cowed by all these rubbish epistles by those who claim they know. They have get off the back of mourinho for playing bad football, he shut them up, now its Lukakus turn, last year it was Pogba, may be next it will be Matic, then Rojo, and it's goes round. After na them go de talk say women de nag. Keep complaining |

I've said it before, Ukaku's major flaw is just that he's technically limited, which makes him miss chances, but apart from that, that ninja is good. I've not seen a striker currently that puts in work more than that lad. His work rate is atrocious. He plays for the team, and covers much ground as possible. it's why he seem not to be in the 18-yard box most of the time. Last night was a beautiful performance from him, filled with energy and determination. He never gave up, always on the move. He'd have gotten an assist if not Rashidi's miss. I'm so happy for him, he's been finally rewarded for all his hard work. This talk of Mourinho dropping him should never resurface. Zlatan can't work hard like him, Zlatan might be a better scorer than him, but we need Ukaku's firepower in that derby. 2 Likes |

Elamps needs to calm down, as a former amateur professional in Edo we know say you too "know ball" so you can argue with yourself to set a record straight. Guy calm down. Capitalcee you also need to try to accommodate other peoples opinion. it seems when others go against what you think about a player you feel that they know nothing and then to always make snide remarks about them. That post Patrick post was directed at you just that elampiro don jump on him bike and was ready to take no prisoners. I Dont know if it is wrong to point out what a player did wrong IN A PARTICULAR MATCH even if that player generally plays well, it's just that some of us feel Lukaku should be doing a bit more than he is doing generally. On this particular match he did well both in his link up and the fact that he scored was cool and I can say most that criticized him have acknowledged it. if tomorrow he goes back to what we Dont like we will criticize him. what we all clamour for is for our players to be more consistent positive play so that when they have that occasional stinker they can be forgiven. Let's be mature abeg when addressing each other. although e don tey wey we see correct fight for this thread. 4 Likes |

eph12: I don't know if he's the messiah we are longing for, but he played well for me last night. I love his darting runs which if seen by an AM like KDB can lead to goals. He's fast, a bit skillful, doesn't have a poor first touch and makes move into the 18-yard box. If played behind a striker like Ukaku, he'll flourish because Ukaku can drag defenders out giving him the perfect opportunities to sneak in behind and wreck major havoc. |

![]() Lindelof is becoming a new Vidic, and no one is talking about it?! Shaw had a good Game last Night, won Fans' MOTM, yet little were said about him?! JM seems to have found a good balance for the Team with 3 - 5 - 2, yet the Einsteins ain't discussing the new Formation and Players' setup?! The 3CBs at the back are well covered, Bailly - Jones - Rojo or Lindelof - Smalling - Blind, the Depth is there to discuss and factually analyze, yet little Attention is given to it?! Shaw has picked up, played well as a LWB, a good Competitor for Young..... should he still be sold or not?! Tunazebe seems ready to deputize for Valencia, Darmian ain't impressing till now..... should he be sold or not?! Fellaini ain't ready to renew his Contract based on United Terms, McTominay is proving to be a huge Talent..... Fellaini should be offloaded or not?! Pls, let shift away from Lukaku Matter, these are Matters arising, let's discuss it. |

Oasis007: Elampiro's opinions on Ukaku has nothing to do with Rooney. Elampawa might be a hardened Rooney fan, but his criticism of Ukaku is borne out of his desire to see Ukaku do well especially when chances are presented to him. We all want Ukaku to do well, sometimes I feel it's out of frustration, especially seeing other strikers score easily, that makes us react to Ukaku's misses. But Rooney has nothing to do with it. |

CapitalCee: It's that money and his age too that scares me. If he's 24 or lesser, I wouldn't mind, but at that age, that money seems too high. But he's a good player and after a temporary loss of form has picked up again. You can't use a tough fixture like last night to judge him. |

sinizia: ![]() Bro..... let's give Lukaku some breathing space on this Thread. I guess you know the leading Goals Scorer in the League ain't a Striker, rather a Winger?! How many Goals do Aguero, Kane, Morata and Co get?! Pls let criticize the Guy fairly coz we all know his Limits before his Acquisition?! Everyone is hoping he's gonna improve on his deficiencies, and I think he's on the right Track so far. |

eph12: How does a Striker or SS create space for others? considering you Dont want him to look for space. is looking for space not more realistic? |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by eph12(m): 8:49am On Dec 06, 2017 |
sinizia:Nah other strikers don't score easily. Look at all the attacking teams and compare their strikers output with Lukaku. I can't begin to mention all the strikers, home and abroad, but the difference is not what we paint it to be. Lukaku link up play has been good. He has kept the ball rolling for most of the goals we have scored recently. His goals will come if he stays in the box but can he afford to? |

sinizia: You didn't see him subtly insult me. All you saw is my response. Normally I don't engage in stuff like this, but this fellow talks down on people in a way that is denigrating and debasing that it's revolting to me. If you argue a position with him that is counter to his opinion, you no know ball. Even when the fellow has his foot in his mouth after goofing with his punditry. So why am I the only one receiving this memo? Tell me why he will pick on Lukaku even when we won? When Lukaku even scored and put in a decent shift? Isn't there something wrong somewhere? Please without meaning to sound aggressive towards you, you are sending this memo to the wrong person. With due respect. |

Oasis007: Pogba dominated discussions of last season, now it's Ukaku, so expect more days like this. Lindeolf has been growing in his display, we all can see it, but sadly Ukaku debates seem to have taken the shine off Shaw and Lindeolf's performances. I especially love the guy's composure on the ball, very good confidence. Smalling is not doing too bad, and he bullied their CF last night which I absolutely love. As for Shaw, apart from his loss in concentration last night for that goal, he played well. I don't think he'd be sold, but I still want us to get another LB like Rose in January just in case he gets injured or doesn't fulfil his potential. Our LB is a weak point for us. |

eph12: It's either we get an SS to score goals for us like Griezmann, or we get a creative AM like Silva or Ozïl to unlock defence, we can't have both. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by eph12(m): 9:06am On Dec 06, 2017 |

I didn't expect Lukaku to play poorly against CSKA. Against Arsenal he was poor, and not because he didn't score. The first time I criticized Lukaku was against Arsenal, although he had been showing signs of poor contribution for about a month now. Now, someone said it is because of Rooney I attacked Lukaku. Na wa! |

eph12: I worded my post back there wrongly. I meant score "easy chances" or "strikers goals" like Elampiro would call it. Look at what Morata missed last night, it's that sort of miss that would've caused chaos on this thread. Guaranteed that ALL strikers miss chances, but some chances are so huge that when strikers miss them you'll be wondering how they made it to professional football. Lukaku has had his fair share of big chances misses, same thing that made us angry about our strikers last season. It's why Pogba had about 4 or 5 of a would-be assists denied for him last season. Ukaku needs to work on his scoring ability, IMHO. |

Sinizia we need someone that can spot a run and release those kind of diagonal defence splitting passes. Pogba needs a partner in the middle. Lukaku Rashford Martial Lingard and even the midfielders can share in the goals if they make the runs like they have been doing. They just need more people to spot the run before the defence recover |

sinizia:Occasionally top strikers misses these kind of big chances which is perfectly normal. Elampiro even brought a stat to prove this. They can only get better when they continue to get more and not playing from the midfield or as the SS instead of the CF and that is my point |
