Webmaster Refuses To Give A Company Cpanel Access Demands by naijaguy2017: 11:01am On Dec 06, 2017
We have an issue in our company .

The guy managing our website has refused to hand us over our correct cpanel details.

He is also using his private email as domain admin email and has refused to validate domain transfer when we requested a transfer from our new host.

This of course is a crime against our company. Advice needed.

This is bad....assuming he used a space he already owns for your company website all he needs do is simply get another space and move your company website files there.

Whatever be the case this is bad.

I think you should let the law handle him

Crime? lol.
It's not a crime. It's a breach of contractual relationship.
Do you have the contract terms in writing?
Do you owe him for any service?
If you do, your company should pay up.

You can also simply ignore him and get alternative domains - .org, .co, .net etc.

Finally, If your contract terms has been breached by his refusal to hand over your domain, only a court can force him to.

You just said it all.

Most of these guys might be owing the developer and yet want him to give them the whole details.

You don't just come here and say something is holding your thing without giving us prove.

In this case, the written web design contract terms.

Another thing.

If the developer in question is a nairalander, mention his username here and let him come and tell us why he did so.

Kudos
