bellong: Hi Bellong, What are the best two banks you can recommend for utilities/daily transactions and savings for a new migrant? From your own personal experience.. |

Great job you guys are doing on this forum showcasing Australia to the rest of us still planning to relocate for different reasons. Please I'll like to know how efficient their internet access is and is it cheap?. Cause I saw some houses who doesnt add internet access to their rent option, a situation where you'll have to pay for internet access. What's you guys take on this. |
Re: Living In Australia/life As An Australian Immigrant by bellong: 10:34pm On Dec 05, 2017 |
jaybwoi: I have no bank to recommend. All the banks are good. You only look for good bank when you need loans. @OGKush, Why should a landlord pay for your internet connection when he is not charging you for it? When you get a house, you will pay for the internet connection of your choice. It is Only in shared house you see internet connection included in rent. 8 Likes |

bellong: Well!! You're right. Most of the houses where internet connection is inclusive with the rent are shared apartments, which was why I asked how efficient the internet service is and if it's cheap, incase I'll have to pay for my own internet connection. Thanks |

I don't know what you use internet for but if Nigeria internet can serve you well, I think you shouldn't worry about the efficiency of internet. It should be the least of your worries among many things to worry about. 1 Like |

Misoke: Price is not the only factor considered when flight hunting. Some consider the number of stops, value added services and airline as well. You'll find that cheap flights have more stop overs, less baggage allowance and less popular/rated airlines. Notwithstanding, good deals come up every now and then on top airlines. This is where IOM may be useful. |

Hi people, Good day hope this meets you well... please I am seeking more information. I currently got my grant for Nsw Sydney. I am seeking assistance for agents or the best way to get a house or an apartment in the inner west of Sydney. I would greatly appreciate any information I get. If you have better suggestions please let me know.. I am seeking an area with good childcare, schools and very good commutes train and car, with easy access to UNSW and the CBD. Thank you |
Re: Living In Australia/life As An Australian Immigrant by Nobody: 12:09am On Dec 13, 2017 |
SallyAUS: you can google and do research on this stuff. I did a similar thing while I was moving to Adelaide. I search for good suburbs, checked for schools ratings etc.I know the closer you are to CBD the higher the rent. You can live in a far suburb and still be okay. 3 Likes |

Re: Living In Australia/life As An Australian Immigrant by Joyfree: 7:53pm On Dec 16, 2017 |
Pls I will like to know how early can one enter Australia after obtaining the student visa n can one find something doing before resumption. Info needed urgently. Thanks |
Re: Living In Australia/life As An Australian Immigrant by OlalekanKad(m): 8:09pm On Dec 16, 2017 |
Joyfree: You can't enter too early from the course start date. Ideally your visa will be 1 month early from the course start date and you can't enter before that time as the visa will not be valid yet. So to answer your question in a nutshell, it is one month early you can enter so as to find something doing. 1 Like |

samuelkingz: Nothing is cast on stone, alot of people come to Australia with different mindsets and not everyone like to enter and start pursuing the aspect of going to buy something in China and start sending things home because trust me, it is not as easy as they tell you but it is doable. 2 Likes |

SallyAUS: My advice for you is to look at Liverpool with postcode 2170. Contact this agent (Starr Partners) http://www.starrpartners.com.au/ send them a message if they can be of help because according to the law, you need to view the accommodations first and apply before anyone can give you any house. Liverpool is like the city of migrants because as a new migrant, you want a place close to industries and also fairly cheap accommodations. 2 Likes |
