Tosinex: We are over-populated enough and have more than enough man-power to develop Nigeria. Even if 1000 Nigerians escape every week, the birth rate is already more than making that up. 6 Likes |

@ Op, just make sure you know what you are saying and what you want to do. That's a big risk and the chances of succeeding and smiling are 20-30 percent. Nigeria is a bloody place and only the violent taketh it by force. Your 9 million naira is a small cash that when you end up being kidnapped, you might loose one hand because the 9 million wasn't enough for the kidnappers. I can go on and on give you many reasons why the odds are slim. You said you want to buy land and build, at the same time open one small shop as usual. Depression will just make you close down the shop. We looking for ways to remove our spirit, soul and body from Naija and land in any country. Imagine guys working like Jackie and still earning peanut in the country called naija despite your degrees, professional certification and experience. Think twice before you make that mistake. Buy land and build and open businesses in Naija WHILE you are still living in the US o 2 Likes |

BluFlyBoy: Your telecoms experience is very needed in our telecoms industry.. Forget all these idle and frustrated bearers of evil news here. My 23yrs old nephew graduated 2 yrs from UNILAG in Systems Engineering. He served last year and last month, while serving as "Intern" in one bank he got a job in another Bank. Forget the negativity here, in recession some people are getting genuinely rich and successful. Some people's recession is other people's boom. 7 Likes |

erico2k2: Okay. Got it. Yes!....relocating to Nigeria has to take a well and carefully planned process, because it's quite difficult to start over again, if things doesn't work out as planned. I although do know quite a few people that have relocated from the States to Nigeria and are doing just fine and if not better than they did when residing in Nigeria. They although did have a well paid job in the States, and also had better ones back home. But that's only a few percent . |

BluFlyBoy: Takea leave come around after you must have gotten trusted members of your family to buy a piece of land then see how far you can erect a structure that will include a store front big enough for your supermarket and at least an apartment upstairs to live in then go back to work complete the building and make enough money to stock up and to pay a few months salary and buy a van before coming back permanently, this way you have a roof over your head and business space before coming back. My dear 9 million will not get you a good space for rent and stock talk more of the rest be very very smart Suffer plenty for this country give yourself a head start. 3 Likes |

BluFlyBoy: Stay where you are... The best advise ever. Send the money over to someone you trust in Nigeria like a sibling. Have him open an account.. Convert the dollars to naira and store it in that account till you come back on vacation. Enjoy the power of dollar over naira now before we drive the territorial witches playing tinko tinko with our economic team |
