Tithing never started with Abraham.....If it did,a commandment by God would have been given expressively....

How can a so-called spiritual principle or law(like tithers will make us believe) be too silent in the scriptures without a single law or commandment from the scripture backing it or fronting Abraham?

Circumcision and burnt offerings were strictly commanded by God to Abraham...why are Christians no observing them...
Why observe what has no instruction from God?

Isaac was never instructed or commanded to tithe simply becos there was no existing law of tithe...rather he was commanded to make a burnt offering for God!

Jacob made a VOW to God wanting to offer him a tenth of all he has if God can help him....
What is a vow?
a solemn promise, pledge, or personal commitment
Before the law was given,many entities in the bible made VOWS from burnt offerings,heave offerings etc

He was still under the law of moses...he attended the temple...carried out burnt offerings...hence it would have been wrong if christ condemned tithe without also condemning d oda laws of moses!

This same gesture was encouraged by Paul to the people of Corinthians... 2 Corinthians 8....2 Corinthians 9:7

They were at no point forced or obligated to give any thing!

If we appreciate God's view and call to STEWARDSHIP tithing can never be an issue for us. Friends, the whole essence of stewardship is that all of whatever we get does not belong to us. We are to share them with the cause of advancing God's purposes on earth and welfare of the less privileged. Tithing, therefore comes in as part of God's economy to instruct our minds on the needful. Instead of not priortizing tithes (10%) we should be concerned about doing more. It should also not break our heads that anyone is ABUSING our TITHES. God knows best how to deal with those who tamper with His glory.
