Former Ogun State Governor, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, has stepped down from the People Democratic Party chairmanship race.

Mr. Daniel in a letter to the party, said he voluntarily withdrew from the Chairmanship race so that the party can collectively elect good leaders for the purpose of winning elections in 2019.

He is the third candidate to withdraw after Jimi Agbaje and Chief Olabode George also withdrew their interest to contest the national chairmanship position.

If the PDP was a wise party they'll bring in a south west person as chairman since they've zoned the president candidacy to the north. Now that they're bringing in an Uche, how would they have an Igbo as a running mate too?
They're indirectly pushing the south WEST vote bloc to APC.

Whoever wins should carry each and everyone along in restructuring the party and ganging up in tackling this God forsaken Administration.

They (SW) should have united in the first place to choose one person and PDD also need SW chairmanship if they are to ousted APC from rulling beyond 2019.
