You no lie, but just make sure your jazz strong pass and you never lose that job, car dealership will repo your car in a heartbeat if you are continuously behind on your payment. That plus depending on your credit by the time you finish paying , you could have bought 2 cars if you had cash. See thats the slave trap America has gotten everyone onto. America is built on credit and the 1 percenters are the ones that are truly rich..1%. You think you are living good, until you lose your job and can't find one on time, and nope not everyone one will receive unemployment assistance, that's dependent on your status and is calculated based on how much you were earning. If you are lucky it will cover you rent and when collections call to collect car payment you will be speaking Hausa in no time. SIRTee15: 2 Likes |

Qc1: 150k can only make u barely comfortable in a low key city in naija..... it can never make u rich.... someone earning 60k dollars can afford to buy a new car.... #150k per month cant secure u a 1.5million naira tokunbo...... u will safe and safe and safe.... u guys talk as if we don't know what obtain in both worlds.... remember... what has been seen can not be unseen.... naija overseas remits 32 billion dollars every year.... a big succour to many families in Nigeria..... u guyz keep hyping on upper class in Nigeria.... are they the only ones entitled to enjoy life.... forgetting there's something called middle class.... there are only 20 thousand millionaires in that country.... so, what happened to the remaining 180 million people outside that bracket income group...... these people work so hard everyday of the week only to be compensated with meagre at the end of the month.... the wealth and success of a nation depends on how much of it gets to the middle class.... something that is completely invisible in Nigeria.... Yet u want me to be happy with such country.... abeg, don't tell me nonsense. 1 Like |

babaskool:OK, now I think you are just a secondary school kid trolling about stuff you don't know. I couldn't ignore your comments because it's full of lies and more lies and lies. How can 9m build you a filling station that can yield 400k profit a day? Is it not the same business I'm doing or do you mean drug business? You have no statistics to back that rubbish you quoted. Buying 30k/33k litters of pms alone is about 5m, and that will sell in about 2 weeks with depending on your location with an average profit of 100k except you mix it with SRG. The only profitable products are dpk and Ago, but that depends on your location and scarcity. No way you can justify making 400k daily on a petrol station built with 9m excluding operating costs that can take up 12m on products and a tanker. The best advise I can give the op is to relocate to Canada or Australia than to listen to kids like you. 5 Likes |

timesup234, pidgin2, wizard999, redgold2017, erico2k2, qc1, babaskool, rtc. How dare u compare how things work in US to how they work in 9ja. THE TWO ARE SIMPLY NOT COMPARABLE!! Forgetting your own personal experience (9jas have commited suicide in US too) or some anecdotal outlayers, sincerely look at the two SYSTEMS. Remember there are people who actually have homes in both countries and go back and forth. Without getting hysterical or emotional compare the following points one by one, US vs. Nig 1) rampant corruption everywhere 2) corrupt politicians 3) corrupt police 4) SARS 5) ritualists, 6) kidnappers, 7) conmen, yahoo boys, 9) brazen robbers, 10) Boko Haram, 11) IPOB, 12) Delta Avengers, 13) baby factories, 14) child molesters, 15) child snatchers 16)human traffickers, 17) poor power supply, 18) ridiculous hospitals, 19) doctor strikes 20) poor schools, universities 21) poor infrastructure, 22) poor water supply, 23) poor waste disposal, 24) poor drainage system, 25) poor building inspection, 26) collapsing buildings, 27) dillapidated housing, 28) poor drug inspection, 29) poor food inspection, 30) poor environmentals 31) corrupt clearing and forwarding, 32) corrupt customs, 33) no mental healthcare 34) no provisions for handicapped people 35) corrupt legal system, 36) corrupt judiciary, 37) poor banking system, long lines 38) poor and corrupt monetary system (black market) 39) Fulani herdsmen 40) military 41) aviation in general 42) MM Airport, Ikeja 43) Filthy and congested seaports (Apapa) 44) rampant strikes 45) fake everything 46) intermittent fuel scarcity 47) generator fumes and noise 48) corrupt FRSC 49) road blocks 50) Non-existent planned public transportation 51) fires and deaths from power surges 52) deaths from unsafe roads 53) In case of fire, long waits for poor response 54) In case of crime, long waits for police response 55) long waits for poorly equipped ambulances 56) very poor emergency healthcare 57) ineffective drug prescription system 58) totally corrupt govt bureaucracy 59) very poor public healthcare sector 60) poor crime investigation process 61) poor forensics 62) poor record-keeping process 63) poor and fraud-susceptible personal identification 64) non-availability of student loans and work-study 65) non-existent credit system 66) non-existent car rental system 67) fraud-prone real estate - "this house is not for sale" 68) no substantial recompense for death or injury due to govt or police mistake or negligence 69) rampant jungle justice, sometimes on innocent people (could be u) 70) extremely high unemployment rate |

Re: Moving Back To Nigeria From USA by RedGold2017: 8:20pm On Dec 09, 2017 |
Go through the thread and re-read my posts, nowhere have I made any comparisons. The point I have been harping on is that America is no heaven on earth and when I see people out of ignorance make choices that will marr them for life , I shake my head. By all means travel, I think travelling is education , even if Nigeria were perfect I would still travel. When you see the ignorance of ppl that have not left their home state , you will get my point. What I would never support is taking extreme measures to go and be burden in another man's land when they owe you nothing. People have made these ill choices some 30yrs ago with their then young kids in tow and now those kids are now adults and are being deported to a country they don't know anything about to BEGIN AGAIN, and if they are not ones that have worked or have been prudent financially , being deported can be likened to suicide. I bet their parents did what they did because they thought it was their best interest. I'm not trying to knock any country, there are pros and cons, don't care where you go. America has a lot of vices, for every one of your brothers killing for rituals in 9ja, theres a young man in missisipi that's killing people just because he's bored or would like to collect their panties in his treasure box down in his basement. For every Sars there are policemen killing unarmed black ppl. America is where it is because they have adopted a culture over years which most Nigerians are unwilling to do. Hospitals are powered by your money, from taxes to insurance to charity donations, walk into a hospital without insurance and beg doctor in the name of Allah and see the type of treatment you get. Forget to pay your electric bill for 3 days and walk into a freezer after they disconnect you light. There's no oga Nepa please wait till next week. All we are saying is if you want what America has, work for it..it takes years, it's not a 10yr or even 20yr something. It takes decades of community cooperation to get any where. If you see how Americans protect their community you will understand. Litter their community and you will see how they will confront you. Play loud music and wait till the cops show up at your door. Your average nigerian as long as he has fan , he doesn't care if generator fumes or noise kills his neighbour, maybe you will get my point sha..maybe someday ..abi.. 9jaDoc: 4 Likes 1 Share |
Re: Moving Back To Nigeria From USA by RedGold2017: 8:28pm On Dec 09, 2017 |
You have done well..you must have been very prudent. If you keep it up, you have to wait till you are 60 to spend your own savings..then all those taxes you never pay , you will end up paying. So let's say you just decide to be angry pack your bags and go to 9ja today , cash your 401k, you will pay 10% penalty , then taxes, just maybe you can get 90k out of your 150k,which is still good money . But then we wonder why America is "So great" , yeah they just took 60k out of your sweat to build their roads, healthcare and other things. So whenever you drive on that free way and smile that life is good and government is working, please remember that your sweat too join. You are consistently helping another man build his land and make America great again. @sweetTai 2 Likes |

RedGold2017: But u should not even be mentioning US and 9ja in the same breath. It gives the impression there is a comparison. Those people u read UNINTENTIONALLY shot by police, their families got millions. Google it. In 9ja the police will kill already arrested suspects in their cells and u will hardly hear about it. If they accidentally kill u it ends there. No compensation or anything. In US you can save almost 100% of your income if u wish and still survive fine. 9jas don't have that choice. You can also spend 150% of your income and be in debt . It's up to you. |
Re: Moving Back To Nigeria From USA by RedGold2017: 9:03pm On Dec 09, 2017 |
Yes..with the money they can go raise their dead relative and they can all enjoy the money together and live happily ever after..im sure that will solve all their worries in this world. You no lie jare..you can save 100% of your income and lie that you have no income so you can collect benefits and live on freebies other ppl have worked for, cheat the system and you wonder why some americans loathe immigrants. 9jaDoc: |
Re: Moving Back To Nigeria From USA by Qc1(m): 9:08pm On Dec 09, 2017 |
9jaDoc: Only a crazy man will compare America with Nigeria, that's not what this is all about. I was only suggesting its okay for the OP or anyone with some cash to relocate back home (just make sure you get the "Kpali" first though). Moreover, there are a lots of hardworking people that will rather stay in naija and make it big time because they save on their incomes massively. If you have $30000 then naija is your best choice. |
Re: Moving Back To Nigeria From USA by Nobody: 9:16pm On Dec 09, 2017 |
pls dont come back to nigeria except u got around 300 thousand dollar to invest ...even presido buhari told najia uk citizen to remain there we got too much problems and population to manage just keep sending remittance ...me and and my nigga as truck owner pass through hell daily to generate income ,we all have high bp and can die from shock from stress of runing biz in najia ...it take a week just to load from warf truck stay 10 days to load ...my friend lost a truck worth 14 m naira and product wort 9 m due to bad roads and inferior tyres....my neighbor a factory owner a Lebanese bought a bike okada to be going to work in apapa he has around 5 solid cars worth over 200,thousand dollars and rent a 10 duplex ...everbody suferring in nijia rich and poor cant even enjoy the wealth 3 Likes |
