Truidstar:Let me say we win our first two games, and Argentina wins their first two games also and that will result to 6points for both teams, then the final group match between Nigeria and Argentina will determine who tops the group apart from goal difference. 1 Like |

Enyeama Could Beat Rufai's World Cup Record, Saves Penalty On Return From Injury Former Nigeria international Vincent Enyeama played his first game in over seven months as the reserve team of Lille beat Croix Football IC 3-1 in the Championnat National 2 Group C, equivalent of fourth-tier. Prior to stepping out onto the Complexe Sportif de Luchin (Camphin-en-Pévèle) turf on Saturday evening, the 35-year-old last figured for Lille at any level on April 15, 2017 when the first team lost 2-0 to Rennes in Ligue 1. Having returned to full fitness, Enyeama agreed to play against Croix Football IC and was impressive, and the highlight of his performance was saving a penalty kick. Enyeama expressed his pleasure at returning to action, posting on social media : ''God has been so faithful.7 months and some weeks, God has taken me up. I had my 1st game. ''I want to thank everyone that worked for this day to happen. God bless you all.'' Enyeama will become Nigeria's oldest player to feature at the World Cup if he rescinds his decision to quit the national team and is selected for the mundial by Gernot Rohr. Legendary goalkeeper Peter Rufai is the oldest Nigerian to feature at the World Cup, at the age of 34 years, 10 months and 4 days. Ifeanyi Emmanuel source: ANS 2 Likes |

goldfish80: Vex. For what? At all. You do not know me. These kind of things do not vex me. I am always eager to learn. I am just disappointed because you are one person I hold in high esteem here. Seeing you resort to attacks (this is not the first time), dents the image I have of you. I just wanted you to know I understand how some people hold their ego over trivial issues. Not vexing at all. I watch matches now showing people areas Gabriel Jesus passes Iheanacho when they complain about the goals he misses, saying Iheanacho will bury the goal. 7 Likes |

Kog45: Actually I do not rate him highly, but in the context of what we have I think he should be considered. I used Omeruo as a benchmark who also I do not rate highly. As it stands the CB'S we have are not top class they are below the standards of Yobo, Taribo and Shittu in my opinion, when they were in thier prime. My view is that we should be testing and considering players to see if we can improve on what we have. Otherwise we may have a very rude awakening at the World Cup. Friendly games are good for testing but are not the best for concluding your progression. 1 Like |

BascoVanVeli: That's not the problem. His value has gone down badly they will struggle to get £10million for him. So it's best that they hold on to him hopefully he can improve or they will lose a lot of money. |

Mujtahida: The comparison is in direct contrast to Omeruo. And the history lesson is still in comparison to Omeruo. Iorfa has been playing continously in the championship since being a teenager. He is now in a kick and rush endeavour team at Ipswich. Playing but not as regular as he would like. Omeruo is in Turkey ☪ playing for a team thats not the creme of Turkish football. Who is better I really do not know conclusively until he is tested. But in terms if speed, strength and aerial dominance Iorfa is clearly ahead. But that's not all that is required. |

Kog45:I don't even like the fact that people are clamouring for the young man to move, he's not even spent half a season. truth is he's no messi and he met people in the team when he joined and they aren't doing badly. I think he should stay and fight for his shirt, his time will definitely come, verdy is above 30 which means he has limited time. the only advice I'll give nacho is to grab the opportunity with both hands any time he's being called upon to play, like Martial, lingard and rashford are doing at United, make it hard for the coach to drop you 1 Like |

goldfish80:lol, after Chelsea must have loaned him to about 5 epl relegation threatened clubs and 25 lower league clubs and release him on a free, he'll now start begging Nigeria that he wants to play, some people here will now start soliciting for him and telling us how he's the best thing that can happen to us since rashidi yekini. mtcheew 4 Likes |

As the Southampton vs Arsenal game draws close, my eyes will be on Redmond who was in a heated lesson from Pep Guardiola. Pointers, Redmond's work rate and the way he attacks the oppositions defence.

Truidstar:friendly is different from the real thing.. Don't wait for Argentina to loose their two matches before we win ours.. If by the last game Nigeria and Argentina need a win to qualify I don't see Nigeria going through. The best is for us to win our own and let the last encounter be who go finish first and second and not Nigeria trying to qualify.. I pray they loose too but my factual mind don't see it happening. 1 Like |

Shittu ke? Shittu was never one of our best defenders. I even prefer Omeruo at his best to Shittu's best. Nobi by muscle. Omeruo isn't that bad (at his best), and he's gradually getting back to his best. komekn: 2 Likes |

jihday: He's not the real deal as far as I'm concerned. Did you see the gapping goal he missed yesterday? With just the keeper to beat, he ballooned the ball straight into row Z. It was criminal to miss fire that wide with just the keeper to beat. 1 Like |

Well I don't know how inform some of these players are since the league is yet to resume, he used last season's performance as yardstick. Hopefully he's going to allow Ajiboye and Theophilus to mount the goal post too. Danielnino00: |
