Despite their price and downtime, ntel is still the best. I use it for lots of things because I am heavy data user. I stopped paying for monthly dstv, using Android TV box to stream movings by using Kodi, Netflix and other android app. Also my online game experience has changed since I started using Ntel 3 months ago, play streamless online PlayStation network games on PS4 console, download games without minding how big is the data. All my family is connected to the network, I am not getting worried on the data being excausted. This network gives you freedom. Is the best so far. FYI, I have Smile, airtel mifi, MTN and glo but ntel is incomparable. The price increase is wrong, but that does take away their service. For the last 3 months, attached is my data consumption.

you spoke my mind word for word.....

I'm sorry glo for my ignorant previous critics..

Forget that they do have some network challenges atimes which all other networks too do have, globacom is d best data network in Nigeria both in tariff and operations

Yes, you're right. When I first noticed, one of their agents told me there's a cap of GB (I've forgotten now) but later spoke to some other agents which denied that there's no cap.
4llerbuntu:

I don't know. They refused to tell me.

But since monthly is 90gb, can't be more than 20gb

Lol... I like this.
So, I was thinking if a thread is opened for Ntel users like us where we hold discussion and decide to call at particular hour of the day.
Our Plan would be to unleash our anger and tell them we'd be leaving their network if the price isn't reviewed and also they should work on their network...

Please what do you think ?

tunetokheyno:
Ntel user here, what I did was to call the customer care and unleash my anger and frustration at whoever was on the other end of the call, I also threatened to dump the network if my subscription was not activated at 12,500.

They apologized, opened support ticket and credited me at 12500.

Well if it's capped then it means the limit is above 120gb because I use 100gb plus. The network just gives me freedom, streaming without minding ur bandwidth. Me I have not experienced any throttle issues for the past year that I've been using the network and I'm a heavy user. My device is connected to 6 devices in the house and stream whenever and for how long I want.

Forget this bro, sometimes I use up to 6gb per day. Last night from 1am I still downloaded 2 movies of 2.3gb each and the damn network is still blazing fast. Nothing is capped.

D question is, Is the unlimited service capped ?

Yes it is. Its capped at 3GB a day.

But there is a trick. You wont know you have exhausted your 3gb quota until you restart d device.

So dont restart d device.

I have used 200gb a month with this trick

I use way above 3gb a day.. it's not capped and yes I restart my device many times a day especially when the network bar drops.

Yes, I've been using Ntel for over a year too. But lately, I discovered the network is bad.
To me, Ntel is very fast / super fast for streaming but lately I don't what's wrong with the network not like when they first came.

Trust me, if we "subscribers" didn't say anything about the increase, they'll add another 2,500 in the next 3 months.
I remembered It was 10,000 before it changed to 12,500, and now 17,500

Cool down, we're have discussed NTEL issue on NL for a very long time.

Every unlimited plan is comes with FUP
.

If you are lucky, you might not get to that cap.

But for heavy users like us, we experienced it Everytime.

The truth is that it's NOT capped. You are told that to minimise your use. Those inside know.

Anyway, a new 3 month plan has been released for N35k.... Meaning you get to enjoy a month at N11, 600- less than N12, 500 previously. There's is also a 6 and 12 month plan now.

Cheers

Once again, its unlimited.

The only thing is I think they would increase the price from say 3750 to 4500 or thereabouts too sooner or later

Despite the price hike, it's still worth it cos its definitely not unlimited! I am a pioneer ntel customer and I have been enjoying them for more than a year now. Apart from a few downtimes, their network is quite stable in Abj. I can't understand how GLO with it's own submarine cable is sooooooo slow!
MTN despite their price has the best 4G Lte network in terms of speed and coverage. I usually pull in 40mbps on MTN.
I have used over 1TB on Ntel though.
