I will find out soon. I've seen clips of both goals. The pitch seems to be waterlogged.

Modified
Cobo favored ahead of Uzoho. Uzoho in bench.
Uzoho was not listed in the previous round. Probably returning from injury?

let's pray NFF secure another friendly.

let all the prospects be tried....
especially onyekuru, kayode and success....
alhassan, Joel obi...those who have been sitting on the bench for sometime now...should play one of the match just to get a clue of their qualifies and who to add to the team...

Yes! All the prospects should be tried including Martins. grin

dude, this guy captained Millwall and Bolton(?), this guy was a fan's favourite at Blackpool and QPR, the guy is the record goalscorer(defender) for Blackpool and so many other things, Shittu was great EoD

at the height of Moyes Everton, Yobo was highly influential on the field. An Everton that was a top 6 team in the EPL. Yobo scores also. Both for Nigeria and at club

We've become quite deadly in counter attack, irrespective of our formation.

I think the game will be won in the midfield. I will have to study the Croatian's defense line to come up with which strikers will fare better against them.

Ok.

I don't think so, with France, he has hope. I mean that team is dominated by African origin players. No one knew about his Nigerian identity until he was an established international for France.

He got his debut, at the age of 19 right? I'm not sure we could have capped him at that young age.

We never can tell anyway.

The same Iheanacho who played on the side against Argentina, Puel wants us to believe he can not play there.

Iheanacho played false 9 in that match.

I would never ever rate Yobo among our best defenders, Yobo exemplified a period of defensive frailities for the Eagles, he was never really outstanding(except as a fullback) and he continued playing because of sentiments

ok let me put it this way, between 2002-early 2013 we were not defensively strong right? And who was the constant defender there? Yobo. Many coaches tried many players, Apam, Adeleye, Shittu and so many others but we were still poor defensively then Keshi removed Yobo and since then we have been strong relatively, what does that tell you?

How can you say for ten years we were not defensively strong?? haba.

He never rejected, AT ALL He needed to sort out his long term future which would be easier as a potential future England full international. When considering potential clubs.

He Explained he would commit when he turns 23. That never changed what changed is the NFF and it's lack of transparency and integrity.

When Omeruo was near anonymous at Middlesbrough Iorfa a teenager was winning MOTM and best young player awards in the same league and in the same season. Somehow there has not been any competition
for the CB position in the SE. Not sure why

I will leave it at that you can guess the rest.

You are right. Just dat people are not happy, he didn't agree when approached him.

I think I rate him highly than Felix Ukpobai.

No it was Yobo's fault cos he allowed Fabrics to have enough space to do the damage, nothing Enyeama could do.

Firstly, do not know what you mean by your player.

Secondly, Dominic was a regular for England U21 and has been playing consistently and continously in the championship for near 4 years.

Omeruo has not been exceptional or outstanding for the SE. There just it seems to be a lack of quality top level CB's available to us at this time in the SE. I can not explain why.

In other areas we have quality in some regards top quality. But for me our CB's are not on the same level of quality as our forwards or midfielders.

The team needs quality in all areas.

Youth level is different from senior football level I get am before no be property. Dominic as of 4 years ago what still potential he is yet to live up to his promise.

Omeruo didn't do anything in the national team? Now I know you're sentimental and un objective. I will not try to convince you as you have already made up your mind about him no matter how flawed. However for the sake of those reading this posts so they won't be misinformed kenneth was a crucial member of our nations cup winning team kenneth also did well for Nigeria at the world cup in brazil until the past two years kenneth was our best defender and no bad belleism can change that

bro...you don't need repeat the bolded...for every true super eagles fan that watch football.
knows the truth...I remember how everyone on the kick-off Nigeria defunct thread...was in the look for omeruo and none wanted yobo on the field....in that world cup...Kenneth was the best Nigeria defender...young and energetic...
I remember one fan on that kick off page said.....that time is coming same way we mock and speak of yobodisdainfully we will do omeruo likewise and that he should take caution of Nigerians praises...

until recently he begin to flop....even though I am not favorably disposed to him..now..I won't rule off his past achievement.

he did well in time past...and I pray he retrace his steps...
ilorfa is untested green horn.... he has no international experience to beat omeruo with...besides..Kenneth is not his mate as far as Africa and international football is concerned.

he was in the best position to advise his son......same route ojokolo and his son are plying now...I checked the starting list for hertaberlin today and the lanking LB was not there....

Why cut off when Yobo was the starman for us in the eagles? You are rating Shittu when he was at his best for us but using another standard for Yobo?

As for omeruo, looking at what I look at when rating or picking defenders, I will go with Omeruo before anything Shittu. In this day and age, a defender like Shittu will likely be smart attacker's toast including the ref because he was raw and rash then. He was very good in the air and can run too, tired less but bad timing, unwarranted bamboozing of balls into the stands was the order of the day during his time.

In African settings, maybe old nations cup, I'll pick him to deal with his fellow jambody old school African players but in this age and time, penalty and dead ball go full opponent hand.

We nicknamed him rugby redhorn shittu.
Danny was a trained English footballer then why thinking he could only do it in Africa with Africans. It seems you don't even know him.Pls go and watch 2010 WC and tell me who was our best defender. It seems his physical look is your major issue not his prowess and what do you mean by old afcon, are you saying players like KANU,Okocha will not fit into this new era

Mind you Danny Shittu was a super regular in his Eagles career except his debut game under Onigbinde a comeo appearance and we are having Omeruo who has fallen behind and trying to be our 4th CB to WC.

Well our opinions w be different cos it seems you like sleek CB not hard and workaholic CB.Well i hope Omeruo make the team cos i still rate him.

No it's not even about training with the best at Chelsea but comparing Irofa with him look somehow. This is a WC defender, truly he started lately this season but ahead of Irofa in all ramifications, they are not comparable for now,the same Irofa is finding it hard to command a regular shirt at lowly Ipswich. The same Irofa was dropped from wolves,so on what criteria.

Let me say we win our first two games, and Argentina wins their first two games also and that will result to 6points for both teams, then the final group match between Nigeria and Argentina will determine who tops the group apart from goal difference.
And we will most likely run into France if we fail to top the group.
