I dont think EFFC Magu has done any damage but rather, his effort to tackle corruption is being frustrated by all the above.

DSS has powers to investigate economic crimes. Read their instrument. It's called economic sabotage. That's why there intervened in the matter involving Ifeanyi Uba and NNPC.

Also concerning money laundering, such monies could be used for arms trafficking with huge implications for national security. They need to be sure. And investigation takes time. It's a rigorous exercise.

As for detaining them for long, the new law requires them to do so. All they need to do is approach the court for an order.

It takes a thief to know one. How did they know that it is mr Kapil Sangtani that launders money? Are they private investigators? How did they get his account number if they have not been doing business.

My submission: dss knows what they are doing. Indians want to blackmail the dss.

My advise: they should approach their embassy if they have a case. Maybe they entered illegally sef
