We were 15 that went for the interview from my state. 5 guys were called to camp. The rest of us accepted our fate.I continued with my studies and I'm currently serving.
They went to camp last year DEC. Then, sept this year, they were given 2 weeks break to go and prepare for exams. They have written the exams and their POP is 16th DEC.
That's for DI.

I don't think 16th Dec is the POP for the DIs, cos no information in respect of that

same here,my contact is also a DI. all he told me is that they will do Christmas at home,am just thinking that if it's that 16th, by now they would have given then their phones and allow them to invite whoever they want to.

There is nothing to update on. All courses are on pass and would resume next year.

in fact, DIs are going on 13th month now. the training is roo long now,even the short service guys spend 9months

It can be more. The original plan was 18 months, DI, Dec 11th made it a year they resumed for training, yet they are still resuming back to NDA.

But what would they be doing for 18 months when military short service guys spends 9 months. that's too much,I learnt those NDA guys are even complaining that the DIs have overstayed.

Imagine!!! This is my thought exactly. And one still have to await three years on the job after training of over a year before one can be allowed to get married. I just hope its really worth the efforts.
