GavelSlam: So you admit that of all the plants listed, only the 40MW station was started by the present government. The biggest on the list there, AZura is a private sector project started under The previous administration. To be truthful, this government is terribly shameless. Nothing have they started. And even the ones that were almost complete when they started have all grounded. The renovation of the airports have all stopped and we are already talking about a new election. Lagos Ibadan expressway, nothing. The rail lines Amaechi has been talking about since, not a single track has been laid. A shameless government. 2 Likes |

PapaBrowne: You must be a shameless person. For 8 years Jonathan and his government couldn't bring a single power project on stream yet you wish to vilify a government promising 8 after 2 years of governance. Kashimbilla was after this government was sworn in and they are saying it would be completed by their third year. Hide your head in shame. 8 Likes |

SalamRushdie: Even though this is nothing but your usual ipob lies, ignorance, and silliness, but let's just agree for the sake of argument that the projects were awarded by the looting, stealing and incompetent PDP admin. The question I just need you to answer is, how come the PDP spent 16 years in office and looted $20 billion power funds and still left us in darkness, still couldn't build and commission ordinary 10MW, 40MW, 30MW and29mw power plants, but this administration without the $20 billion power funds is commissioning the same projects in less than 3 years. Nna, I know your ignorant ipob, unintelligent and deceptive mentality dictates that you must let us know how shallow and ignorant you are, but try as much as possible not to bore us with it because you end up making your incompetent looting and stealing PDP uncles look bad. 8 Likes 1 Share |

SalamRushdie: Possibly you're right. Can you let us have the power projects started by GEJ? So we can compare to those initiated by previous govts and know who should be given the prize. For starters, The Nigerian National Integrated Power Project (NIPP) was conceived by OBJ in 2004 and it kick-started the revolution in the Power sector that Buhari and Fashola are continuing today. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

SalamRushdie: You're mixing things up bro. Afam has 5 phases. The first, Afam 1 was started in 1975 and the last, Afam V was completed in 2002. That licensing date of 2012 isn't construction date pls. In fact i think that license was for Shell who proposed Afam VI after they failed to buy Afam 1-4 4 Likes 1 Share |
