Camry is better. Solara is two doors car which is difficult to use for family person.

I just finished service and am about to buy a 2002 Toyota camry solara (not the convertible) from a dealer here in PH. I like the ruggedness of the camry but hate the aesthetics. So I am going for this solara.

This is my first car. Please gurus in the house should advice me. Pictures are not yet available, may be tomorrow when I go with my mechanic so no too vex.

If you buy a non - abused version, a Toyota would always be a Toyota, in terms of reliability.

Ensure you do this before any payment is made....

(1) VIN check
(2) Inspect all aspects of the vehicle
(3) Take it for a test drive (engage all gears and hit higher speeds (within reason). Check for vibrations etc etc etc
(4) Test all buttons and functions (AC, lights, handbrakes etc etc etc
(5) If you are not mechanically inclined, take someone that can differentiate engine oil from groundnut oil, along for the inspection...........

Hence the onus on owner, to give themselves a window of opportunity to retrieve what is/was rightfully theirs.........

Any car in Nigeria can be stolen. Do you know uncommon cars in Nigeria have uncommon problems and you will spend uncommon money at the end of the day you will sell it off at uncommon price.

But thieves mainly steals vehicles in hot demand, quick flip........

If you maintain your uncommon car properly, all uncommon problems would be drastically uncommonly minimised, saving your uncommon money in your uncommon bank account.......
