Thank you Optionese. My people. I’m begging o, Please, Abeg, Biko, Mbok, Don Allah, Edakun, make una no do jump and pass on my questions. I’m asking for a friend who’s just starting out, he’s self-employed and most likely to get married to a lady who has a young child. I believe proper preparation plays a part especially for an applicant caught in this web. Here are the questions again.
1.) For an applicant who’s adding spouse after AOR, what are the likely ADRs to expect apart from POF, PCC & Medicals for spouse, Pictures of wedding/honeymoon, chats/email exchange?

2.) The significant other has a child, asides consent letter from the child’s father, any other legal document to support addition of the chap?

3.) PA is self-employed, what documents are needed to prove work experience? I know recommendation letter from clients, CAC registration, income evidence, tax clearance, reference letters from clients, bank statement showing payments from clients, contract agreements. Please any other document to be added?

Individualized answers will be appreciated, those who added spouse post AOR can help with #1, single parent applicants can help with #2, while our entrepreneurial applicants can tidy #3. Ojogbons, elders and gurus/gurus in the making can attempt any or all questions. Please no jump and pass biko.

Hello All,

Please, I am new here but need guidance from those who have experienced the issue of date of birth printed on transcript which is different from passport. I have not registered with WES yet but I need help of how I can align the DOB with my all my documents. Has anybody have his university (mine is UNN) changed this before? What is the way to go about it. Please help guide me. Thanks.

Hi guys,

Good Work here.

This thread is really helpful.

Please I have a question. I am about to start the process. I have 1 year work experience, 6months each in 2 different companies. The job description is exactly the same.

Please do you think this will count as "continuous work experience", since that is the condition to qualify for this immigration program?

I hope someone has an answer to my question.

Looking forward to your reponses.

Yes it will count as 1 year work experience.

Good morning my people, please I need answers to these questions.
1. Can I modify an info on my profile post-ITA but before eAPR? I realized I mixed up my job titles. Can I do it now before I continue my application, the way I could before the ITA came or must I continue the application, modify the info then save and exit till when I am fully ready to submit my application at the end of January? And will I need to include an LOE to explain why I am changing the title names? I am already planning to change my NOC post-ITA.
2. Hubby's passport bears only his first name and surname, no middle name. I entered the pool with it like that, but I want to know if I can change it to reflect his middle name since we have an affidavit covering his middle name. Must his name be entered exactly the way it is on his travel document or can an affidavit be uploaded to show the reason for the disparity?

Biko, help me answer. Thanks.

Hi e-family,

I was stamped into Nigeria from another country on my expired passport (the two were together and the immigration officer didn't check well) and i didn't notice until months later.

Now that we are required to upload stamps and visas on the current passport only, what do I do? Should i include the stamp on the old passport with LOE or leave it? Won't it be noticed if i leave it?

Please epp

Good morning my people!! Please help me with this matter o... I have worked in a private firm for about one year 8 months. The thing is I resigned one month before getting my present appointment in a govt agency. .my question is now: 1. won't CIC wonder why I resigned a month before my current duties?
2. As a civil servant apart from my employment letter, am I supposed to submit my assumption of duties letter?
3. Am I supposed to include my notification of resignation? Cuz I didn't submit that.. I only notified my boss verbally.. It's a small firm
4. I hope I can still claim my 3 years despite stopping work for one month? It's same duties am doing in my new place of work.
Thanks In anticipation

Please, does one need to do an LOE to explain reason for changing NOC post-ITA?

I don't think you need LOE. We changed NOC post-ITA and did not mention it in the LOE. You should not have any issues if your JD matches the prescribed job duties of your chosen NOC.
