Oh please! Kelechi was never given a fair chance. This is a guy who's coming to Leicester from another football club. And in addition, he was coming off injury. Hence, he would need more than a few games to form good cohesion with his team mates. But once the team starts losing, the blame would go to the African guy. There's no doubt in my mind that Shakespeare would've given him a few more games if Leicester was winning games at that time. Unfortunately for him, the team was going through a slump and KC took the blame.

And the same thing happened to Musa as well.

Put it this way if Kane was in Leicester do you think he will be warming the bench.

In reality KC has actually had too much opportunity in the context of the EPL. In the EPL you get maybe 2/3 games to show your quality or at least your potential quality.

Demarai Grey was benched when KC was playing new manager comes in and in one game has claimed permanent position. He has taken his opportunity.

KC is playing in the U23 is he the top scorer in the U23 league, how many goals has he scored how many hat tricks Currently there is a young teenager called Eppiah who is currently performing more than him at least in the U23's.

So what opportunity is he supposed to be given a whole season.

Musa left the Russian league with the belief that he would light up the EPL but has essentially flopped. However, nobody is saying he wasn't given an opportunity. Can I ask why It smacks of a double standard with regards to KC.

If you can't stand the heat do not go into the kitchen.

Competition does not reduce quality it increase it, by implication you are implying he is not good enough. He needs bto understand the speed, intensity and physicality of the EPL is unlike any other league in the World. That's why it is the most competitive.

The reality is that KC has been unable to cut it and if he can't cut it at Leicester then he will not be moving to Arsenal or Tottenham. Bit he will not be the first or last. This is why the EPL is not for everyone.

Would he be given a fair chance??

It's not just to give him some 3 cameo appearances and expect him to score an hat trick. If a team can do without you, they won't see your use.

Don't also forget, Allardyce wasn't the one that brought him to the team.

Dele Ali has been very poor this season. As a matter of fact, he's been so poor this season that he's rated top2-3 flop of the season by many British rags.

In fact, he has made Lamela's come back to the starting 11 easy.

the same thing happened to musa and kc according to u...but what of ndidi?
Why wasn't he singled out?
Look at ndidi..he came and kept the ground running ...this is a guy from different league and different atmosphere. .yet he kept his coo l and kept his ground running. .

Truthfully kc was given chances and opportunities but he failed woefully. .he has played not less than 10 premiere leagues games..no goal nor assist to his name if am not mistaken. .
And u know the funny and unlocks part for him?
Leicester is currently doing wonders without him.so I fear he is gonna stuck their @ their un23's untill miracle happens..because neither Gray, okazaki, mahrez, not vardy is ready to slip up...

And I hope gernort rohr unsentimentallly calls our best performing legs to the world cup no matter whose ox is gored. .

Actually, I am not. I have always regarded Kane as a top player, but not anywhere near world class. And definitely not anywhere near the Messi, Neymar, and Cristiano Ronaldo levels as the UK pundits want us to believe. Having said that, I also think that KC is a potential top player who, unfortunately, hasn't been given enough opportunity to show class.

Let's hope he start in Russia and use that as another launching pad for this career.

O pari

You know what Kane has got going for him??

CONSISTENCY, being the highest goal scorer foe the past 2 seasons is no child's play in the EPL.

For the past 3 seasons, he's scored 30 goals and above in all competitions.

I think I can guess whom the SuperEagles person is: based on his style of writing and the method of argument. Those of you who have been to the Cyber Eagles forum (not sure whether it still exists), you might recall a guy we call "AyoAkinfe". I can put my money that the SuperEagles poster is the same AyoAkinfe guy. The writing style and the argumentative circular reasoning ... down to the 10 pointers (we used to call Ayo Mister 10 Pointer) all betrayed him on that post.

KC needs a great WC. Reminds me of Adnan Januzaj. Top potential but has not really reached it.

He needs games/confidence.

Too early to throw that name out there because who knows he could go on loan and shine or even break into the team before the end of the season.

What do you think KC was at City a provider and creator of goals.

Let's be truthful if you can't rate him 130 games and 120 goals is an incredible scoring record in the EPL and he is not even 25. You must bow for him even if you don't like him.

Please wake up you are sleeping.

Please, tell me about Nathan Oduwa, you must have seen him in training a couple of times while he was still at spurs.

I had so much hope on that young lad, I just can't forget one of his goals he scored by first of all deceiving the keeper with a fake shot before scoring.

I seriously don't want to believe his showboating is exactly what has seen him currently in Slovenia. Thanks!

Also an U15 tournament.
They are both sponsored by Zenith Bank and the NFF.
It looks like one team from each zone

I have really never cared about other people's view about the SE even if they like let them say we'll be pummelled 19-0 it's just freedom of speech which shall tell on match day.

I really want us to have adequate preparations that would make us play as a unit(like the Germans) not selfish individual football. We should play without fear and over respect to our opponents.

If only we could be as disciplined as the Germans going into every competition
He's talking as if his team is any good even in his absent.

If teams like Peru can beat them in a competitive match ( the WC qualifiers). If below average teams like Venezuela and Bolivia can frustrate and subdue them and their "star" studded team to o draw during the qualifiers, then we can pound them and hand their asses to them once again in the WC.

Do you know what else Kane has going for him? Being given playing time. Like I had always said, you can't score if you don't play. I wouldn't put it past KC that if he has been given as much playing time as Kane (and made the primary target man), he would've scored as many goals as Kane. After all, Kane wasn't scoring when he was sitting on the bench for Emmanuel Adebayor and others, remember?

Yea, Ayo is a trip. The only character I could with him here is Forgiveness but Ayo is 10 times more annoying/opinionated than Forgiveness. I can recall how we ran him out of the CE a couple of time; then he would go into exile on ghanaweb or Camfoot and start fighting with them on there as well.

I give it to him though, that dude has an uncanny way of digging up soccer the football forum of any country you can think of. Anytime there's a big tourney like the World Cup, before you know it, Ayo is out there bantering in the web forums of our opponents.

ChrisKels:

Ayo Akinfe will never change. He has so ridiculed himself on CE that other members now see him as a persona non grata. I never believed he would go as far as posting that trash on that forum after he made it out and posted it on CE a day after the draw was held. He is a writer for owngoalnigeria.com, and any time u see ten points, ten reasons/things on either of CE or owngoalnigeria.com, don't bother guessing the writer, it is Ayo Akinfe again.

I think you misunderstood me. I am not saying that English some players are not good, my point is that they are grossly overrated by the British media and pundits. There are a few good players that have come out of England but in each case the British media would go crazy with their baseless comparisons. Unfortunately, each time they are put to test, they would fail woefully.

Gareth Bale had one good season with Spurs (and skinned the aged Maicon) then the British pundits went bananas. To hear them, you'll think that Bale had suddenly became the second coming of Pele. Poor Real Madrid, they bought the hype and paid a king's ransom on Bale. Well, we all know how that is working out. And I can tell you right now that Harry Kane would be a big flop if he moves to Real Madrid. Go write it down!

And by the way, Wilfred Zaha is an Ivorian player not British, so take his name outta there grin

O pari

Zaha English born and English made.

Are you saying Sturridge is not quality.

Waoh!!!!!!

I won't write him off though because he plays in Tunisia, I remember a certain Emma Amuneke playing with Zamelek from 1991 to 1994 and was one of our jokers at the 94 Nation's cup and world cup, similarly John Utaka plying his trade in Qatar prior to the 2002 WC, so if this is true, let's see what he has to offer. But wouldn't it be fair to also extend similar invitations to these midfielders as well; Joel Obi, Ajagun, Onomah, Raheem Lawal and Azubuikwe. I know we can't take all of them to the WC or even have them in the preliminary 30 or 35 man team but at least if Sokari is being invited, I think these guys should also at least face Good ole Joe's camp drills.

Sturridge is more talented than Kane imo. Injuries ruined him. I frankly don't buy the hype of Kane. Consistent goal scorer yes -no way in the world is he the best 9 on the planet. Icardi would be receiving the same hype if he was british.

He wasn't even good enough then, he was a flop wherever he went on loan to. He could have been released alongside Ekong, bit they held on to him somehow and it's paying off.

Don't forget, pochettino is a genius, he has the ability to make average players play good football. I hope that very soon, nacho finds himself in a team that suits him, with a manager that believes in him.
