it is double standard to say that £217.3M is an unhindered spending spree but £202M is not ..Just 15.3M difference not much IMO

and it is not like one did not miss out on top targets like dani alves,alexis sanchez ,even bonucci

John Stones is a regular and has been injured for over a month now. Drinkwater is not a regular even when fit so you are wrong

How many games did Kante and Hazard miss due to injury. Hazard 3 league games which Chelsea lost 1, Since Hazard came back, Chelsea has lost 3 more games. Same thing with Kante

Mendy has missed 13 games due to injury, John Stones has missed 5 games due to injury

Stop your fables. Conte had issues before, during and after the transfer window on transfers, I don't know where you got the story that he had issues after buying virtually his plan b options.

Pep came to city and was given free hand to pick players and that alone was one of the reasons some of us called him a fraud after a failed debut. I personally didn't know he would spend additional 217m for this season, before he could smell the league title.

I will appreciate it, if you can help with the total amount spent on new players since he arrived epl. I don't think conte has spent near that in total.

I expect pep to win all the major trophies this year, anything short, will be considered a failure to me.

I agree. Why are people belittling Pep's achievement in the Bayern setup? He won the league for three years, despite the tough opposition. He reached three semis. He managed the team well and won other titles.

He was fantastic for me. He even left honourably when he couldn't win the UCL.
