There has always been wars and there would always be wars, wars often boils down to clash of ego's, if Nigeria is divided into streets, there would still be conflict, the British did not make people go on a killing spree destroying our democracy, Aguiyi-Ironsi promulgation of the now infamous "Decree No. 34"—which abrogated the country's federal structure in exchange for a unitary one, yes an Igboman! You should post a video about that, who cares about the British when our politicians (Yoruba,Igbo, Hausa, Edo etc) steal money and take it there. These are the prominent leaders killed by your brothers; The Premier of the Northern Region and Sarduana of Sokoto, Sir Ahmadu Bello; The Premier of the Western Region, Chief Samuel Ladoke Akintola. Prime Minister of Nigeria, Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, ( he was abducted and his dead body was discovered six days later at a roadside in Lagos. ) Nigeria's first Finance Minister Chief Festus Okotie-Eboh (same fate with Tafawa Balewa) Brig-Gen. Samuel Ademulegun and his wife, Brig-Gen. Zakariya Maimalari, Col. Kur Mohammed, Col. Shodeinde Lt.-Col. Abogo Largema. Notice no Igbo was touched, that is the cause of the civil war, not the stupid myth of incompatible tribes, USA is made of ALL the tribes in the world, millions of Nigerians live in the UK, BLAME YOUR IGBO BROTHERS!!!!!! How can they be in support? when they actually designed Nigeria never to function so they can continue to milk her dry. These people are the vilest people on earth, very despicable and wicked. They believe Nigeria must forever be enslaved to them. |

A foreign plan to slow Nigeria's progress hahaha a plan that killed only prominent Yoruba, Hausa and Edo leaders? The Premier of the Northern Region and Sarduana of Sokoto, Sir Ahmadu Bello; The Premier of the Western Region, Chief Samuel Ladoke Akintola. It was Igbo greed, no Igboman was killed in the coup, you can't kill these much leaders and ask for Biafra codemaniacs: |

It's weird how Nigerians shift from being ethnic bigots to patriots. People saying, Nigeria can become great on this thread, then on another, telling certain ethnic groups to leave their land. Making statements, such as certain ethnic group(s) will never become President of Nigeria. My question is, since these guys love to compare Nigeria with USA, do you see white American's exhibiting the same kind of hate towards one another in that country? 1 Like |

StaffofOrayan: You're evaded my points and are still rambling about the civil. Nigeria is a British creation that is an undeniable fact! Igbos didn't need ask for the creation of Nigerian state, infact we were against it. (Read up on the Anglo-Aro war). Without Britain there would be no Nigeria, hence no coup, civil war and needless conflict. Everyone would be tending to their business. 2 Likes |

I disagree, those coup plotters are selfish peeps, they acted on emotions, not caring the consequences, the civil war became imminent when Yakubu Gowon and Ojukwu started the tussle for power - head of state, now that is a personal beef between 2 military factions 2 ego's, they shouldn't have brought it on innocent people. Ojukwu never had initial plans for biafra he wanted to be friggin head of state! Infact upon his return from exile he still contested. codemaniacs: |

StaffofOrayan: The Anglo-Aro war and Ekumeku resistance against British imperialism predates Nigeria amalgamation and Independence. Igbos wanted Nigeria so bad they gave their blood on several instances to get away from this sinister creation. The indigenous people of America we're wiped out by the Anglo settlers. So what point were you trying to make? |

Try and learn, He alongside Ojukwu and Banjo were the people that tried to end Agunyi Ironsi's rule AFTER Ironsi deposed Azikiwe, learn the history of your country before posting French videos, you should actually read that book instead of trying to use it to score cheap points, it is very insightful but I doubt you can concentrate for that long imhotep: |

Hypocritical nature of the British. You gave Scotland referendum and voted to leave EU yourself yet you won't support a Biafran referendum or total disintegration of the contraption you created, a crime against humanity . |

The Ekumeku Movement consisted of a series of uprisings against the rising power of the Royal Niger Company of the British Empire in the Anioma communities of the Western Igboland. The British penetration of Nigeria met with various forms of resistance throughout the country. In the south, the British had to fight many wars, in particular the wars against the Ijebu (a Yoruba group) in 1892, the Aro of Eastern Igboland in 1901–1902, and from 1883–1914, the Anioma. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ekumeku_Movement A lot of tribes fought the British, at the end of the day we were dealt the Nigeria card but we had true federalism, until Ironsi, even though Azikiwe was president. My point is in Nigeria was and is being destroyed by Nigerians ApexPredator: |
