So why talking as if Dickson didn't do something worthy of recognition?

All you could have done is to commend him and enjoin him to do more.

There are mediocre Governors (including the President) that can't point to a single achievement
Boss, I'm still telling u the same thing. If u know the allocations given to bayelsa state on a monthly basis, u won't count these things as achievement, abeg.

Mr man, calm down.....I'm not talking about party politics here, party politics is one of the reasons we develop at a very slow pace.

Oga, just imagine what people have been subjected to in the past

If you are from this community I am sure you will know what this means.

I am an Ijaw man from Riverine community (like every Ijaw community), I know what a project like this means to our people

They are not doctored. Why not go to these communities and confirm yourself?

Do you think Dickson won re-election because of he was a PDP man? Bros, he won because he did what none of his predecessors ever did while they held sway

Do you know that Bayelsa is a special state with more water than land? Do you know that it cost more to construct a 10km road project in Bayelsa than in Lagos, Rivers and any other places due to the perculiarities of the area? Why do you think previous administrations in the state were considered incompetent? Why do you think Timpre Sylva was pelted with sachet water when he was Governor?
Re: Some Of The Legacy Projects Of Gov. Seriake Dickson by temitemi1(m): 8:46pm On Dec 15, 2017

Oga you cant wish away party politics from any society.
Nah, Nigeria's own is worse.....every sensible leaders prioritize development of their countries than playing politics.

A sensible president or leader of a country will commence works at where the previous one stopped irrespective of their party but Nigerian leaders will leave every infrastructural developments and may wanna probe the previous one cos they're not from the same party. Rubbish!

point of correction. bayelsa has never had an APC Led governor in the state. also contrary to some people timipre sylva when he was governor did a lot in yenogoa and employment for bayelsa indigenes. His problem is based on some factors that were not in Hus favour even till now.
Please, what are the achievement of Sylva aside violence and cultism? Can you expantiate please? If he did so well, why was he pelted with stone during Campaign with Goodluck Jonathan who was the President then? If he did so well, why did he lose his bid to Senate in 2015 and later Governorship?

Please, let the truth be told! Aside Seriake Dickson and Alamesiegha (whose record Dickson has dwarfed), Bayelsa has always had mediocre leaders.

I do criticise Dickson sometimes but let the truth be told, none of his predecessors stand shoulder-2-shoulder with him.

Though there is room for improvement

Don't be emotional with this, I'm a Nigerian like u too and I can boldly tell u that our mentality is wacky.

Lemme tell u something..... a leader is chosen to serve his/her people and every state is special, abeg. Every state has its own way of specialty.

Most Nigerian leaders don't think of their people first, they place themselves ahead of everyone, why should a worker that earns 18K be owed about 6months salary while a senator that earns $1.5m every year is never owed? undecided. As I said earlier, I'm not here for party politics, if u know how much ur governors receive, u will demand for better things.

in terms of leaders bayelsa has been blessed with at least governors who do their best to at least further growth and development in one way or the other.Alamieseigha was its first governor and he built ndu and worked in amasoma, roads into the state,Sylva built the state hospitals scattered over the state, the state school at okpoma and the inter road connection within yenogoa metropolis.Seriake enlarged some of the yenogoa roads built the bridge at azikoro-ekeki,diagnostic centre and released #3bilion to ogbia-nembe road which at ensured its completion and many others but each of them has negative realities.

Yes, the governor has done well, I'm not disputing that.....but it's his job, that's the reason he's chosen to be the governor, that's what he's being paid for. It's like shouting that Ronaldo scored a goal. Is that not his job? undecided

I disagree! There is this "Well done" when a man performs and "I am disappointed" when he fails. He has done well here Sir
