That's how Nigeria work. Plenty capable young Nigerians applied for this job but it was given to the son of a rich man at the end.... This one that won't go to work sad
I do tell people, Nigeria is who knows who

Why should I celebrate this nonsense?
Shior

To me this is nothing, with their family status and accounting background he could have gotten a job with CBN, DPR, NNPC, NDIC etc but decided to joint police.

2. Is any fault of d boy for being born into a foremost royal family?

Thats d facts of life, roll with it or get rolled over![/quote) what we are saying is many Nigerians youths that have applied for several government jobs and were not picked because they didn't know anybody despite being qualified.........now let us all jobs are shared to as slots to senators, reps, first class kings,2nd class king, down to baales........it means educationally qualified youths who are poor and without connection with not get jobs(remember they are from poor background meaning no money to Start business).....................YOU AND I SHOULD NOT Complain ABOUT CRIME IN THE SOCiETy...if children of the poor are not given equal OPPORTUNITY.....remember frustration pushed THEM to Crime.........

How do you mean nothing will stop him if he chooses to work in CBN?

You know what I meant. At least we all know his father. Even without his father intervention, he will still get good job by mentioning his name alone.

I think that young man has passion for that job.He could have easily gotten any juicy government job.He is sure of speedy promotion as at when due.He may be future IG.Don't be surprise his salary may not be the same as his mates. Why others are receiving 120,000,he may be receiving 500,000.

Madam, facts of life; Kids of d powerful n d rich, will always get d juicy appointments.

Any slot left, or just to satisfy all righteousness, some poor kids would be given a chance.

Its either our parents fight hard or we inturn fight for our kids! There is no drama abt it, n its not just a nigerian thing! Nepotism is a way of life, world over. Same as thieves! U cant eradicate both, from society, u learn to live with it, n pray ur kid doesnt go to any of d extremes.

I dont get what point u're trying to make So, if u av a friend or relative in a position to help n ur kids need help, u'll ignore ur contact person n tell ur kid to go n 'scope' d security to allow him drop his cv! Lets keep it real, pls.

they will say no jobs...but these ones will get jobs can't he be an entrepreneur Like they tell us for those sayin he studied abroad...so those who studied here are goat abi...this framework of not giving people a fair chance for jobs is corruption in itself....all the same congrats to the young man he couldn't have stressed to get a job having been born to a royal house and rich home....the rest of us will have to strive even if we are qualified...

In short YES! because your degrees are worthless, you will always be playing second fiddle, you will only get the jobs nobody else wants, once someone with a foreign degree is applying for the same job as you, you have no chance. I dont mean to insult you, I am only trying to awaken you to the realities of the future of our youth and why our youth should wake up from their slumber. If the degrees in Nigeria had any value, the Nigerian elite/niddle class will not send their children abroad the way they do now.

Nigerian youths need to understand something: It is not because he is a son of Sanusi that he got the job, it is not because these kids getting the best jobs are children of the rich that they are getting the jobs...NO!! The reason why they are getting the best jobs is because they are better qualified, the reason why they are better qualified is because they attend reputable schools. The only connection between their status and thenm getting the best jobs is that their parents are able to better prepare them by sending them to the best schools abroad. If you are in a university where you do not have children of the well-heeled or well connected, that is a clue that your degree is probably not going to get you anywhere.

When I say you are a goat, it is because you are the same people that will allow yourselves to be used as pawns, IPOB, North South, CVhristian v Muslim, Buhari v Atiku, Tinubu V Saraki, Ibo V yoruba etc etc. Remmember the leaders ship of all these organisations do not send their children to your schools, they will always get the best jobs...that is why you are goats for attending substandard universities in Nigeria and then taking sides with the very people who have stolen monies that have resulted in the substandard universities and hence substandard quality of education you receive and by extension limited (or doomed) your futures. If you do not understand that any University you attend in Nigeria you are already at a disadvantage compared to someone with a foreign degree, then you do n ot understand the magnitude of your problems and why there are no jobs for you and why children of the elite will always take all the best jobs.

Prince Aminu Sanusi Lamido, the first son of His Highness Emir of Kano Muhammad Sanusi II and the grandson of the late Emir Ado Bayero, has become a police officer.

Prince Aminu born in 1991 joined the Nigeria Police after he graduated from University of Buckingham united kingdom with Bsc accounting after which he left for Riyad the kingdom of Saudi Arabia where he studied Arabic before coming back to Nigeria and did his NYSC in Lagos.

The prince then joined the service of the Nigeria Police, Plateau Academy where he passed out with the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP).

It could be recalled that the ASP's late grand father, Emir Ado Bayero was a police officer before he joined the diplomatic work, then became the emir of Kano.

Congratulations to the Kano royal family, particularly his highness.

Late Emir Ado Bayero was not Present Emir Sanusi Lamido's biological father. So,if this boy is Sanusi's biological son,Ado Bayero is not his grandfather, but he's still from the royal family. This correction must be pointed out.

@ the bolded, you mean the northern candidates are given slots of southern states? Why must you always cry and lie over everything? Fyi, it is even southern states that are busy filling up slots meant for the north because I know an Igbo guy in the army who "comes" from Zuru, Kebbi state. But have you ever seen any Ibrahim Abubakar from Imo State?
Again, what do you mean by over qualified candidates that were turned back? So the son of a rich man with good education cannot get a government job again? So, you think if this boy wants NNPC job or even good job in any multinationals in Nigeria, he can't get it with connection? What the fvck is police officer job that you are busy complaining about? I have a university course mate whose father was a serving minister, the boy was second best in my department.
