I started betting some months ago when i passed my JAMB with the hope that before i get admission i would have hit it big to be able to sponsor myself but reverse is the case because betting only took all the little money i have. Those of you that are in my shoe before please tell me how you stop it.

I feel for you guy, i pray Almighty Allah blessed you with the strong will to resist any form of negative addiction esp. This one you are in.
Let those ignoramus continue wailing. Its either they have not been there or its there way of life.
My advices would be to:
1. Prayer, by prayer i mean fervently.
2. Do away with friends that bet and places where they do.
3. Before you stake your money, think about the consequences, the punishment of gambling in the hereafter. I am sure no one can withstand candle light talk less of hell fire.
4. Stay away from other forms of sin.
5. If you are a Muslim. Make sure u bserve your daily prayers and other supplementary prayers.

And about forfeiting your admission, think twise about it, admission is not easily come by in Nigeria. Even if you have t borrow.....plz do.
