After we lost 6-1 we met in FA cup, we parked the bus with Rooney playing as false 9. We manage to win. The next encounter was a league match we needed a draw to leave the title chase in our hands, but we parked the bus again. Kompany scored from a corner kick.

In 2012/2013 It was same story even when we beat them 3-2. Then the return leg was even worse.

I also see another fellow blame injuries to Pogba and Morata as one of the major reason why Mou and Conte couldn't deploy their best tactics.

It's laughable to be honest for folks to believe you only stand a chance of beating City by parking the bus, it is the most ridiculous claim to be honest, until City scored the second goal, Spurs looked the more likely to score, in fact they had City camped in their half at some point but poor finishing and in some instances poor decision making was their undoing.

And talking about absentees, Spurs were without their best defender, Alderweireld and Sanchez who was signed from Ajax thus Pochettino couldn't deploy his usual 3 CBs at the back and had to make do with the brainless Dier who is normally deployed as a DM away from the goal to mask his occasional lapse in concentration.
In the middle, Spurs really missed Wanyama who would have done a better job in keeping KDB in check.

All in all, City though on a very fine run of form aren't invincible or out of sight yet, I'm quite sure some folks here thought Crystal Palace were gonna go down, at some point, they couldn't even get a draw but look where they are now, same with Westham and Everton... It's football and most importantly the EPL, for all of City's brilliance, they may end up without a trophy.

Criticising mou and utd is ridiculous. United are 2nd in the league. City are setting new records each week with a fantastic team.

The way I see it is, United are a good team. They are playing good football. It's just City are playing better than any other team has ever done this season in the PL. Credit where credit is due.. At the moment United are good. City are just better.
