When one exemption is made before the law, it'll lead to others asking to be exempted . At the end, what we'll have is anarchy 6 Likes |

smoy: Are you this elusive? There are many Nigerians and states that practice sharia law in Nigeria. Yes, I guess you learnt correctly that law school is for everyone without religious indoctrination. 5 Likes |

I want my Muslim brothers to answer this question with all sincerity. Will it be acceptable to them if someone turn up in Sango attires to the bar ceremony? I am yet to see anywhere in the Koran that makes the wearing of hijabs compulsory. 13 Likes |

If they change the law for this Muslim girl, then they must change it for so many other religions. Not like the nonsense that goes on in Nairaland religion section where I have to swear to some useless oath before commenting on that section. But they the Muslims are free to comment on Christian topics. 12 Likes 1 Share |

smoy: She has every privilege to practice her religion in the mosque not in Nigerian court room. She will still vacate the courtroom whenever she wants to pray facing east. Nigeria constitution did not grant anybody the right to practice religious doctrines in Nigerian judiciary system. 15 Likes 1 Share |

There are no Muslim or Christian Law Schools in Nigeria. people should stop trying to foist religion in a secular institution. What is the brouhaha about Hijab. Is Hijab part of the approved uniforms for Nigerian Lawyers? If No, then why trying to force it on the institution? Religious hypocrites everywhere. 15 Likes |
