Same Pep that adopted a tad cautious approach with Bayern against Barcelona? If Barcelona play to their potential, I doubt any team can match them especially with Dembele coming back and Suarez gradually hitting form...
Talking about PSG, when fully fit, City will struggle to contain them. I still think City are a level below the top dogs

that barca that pep was cautious against was for good reasons,he didn't have robben and Robert available and that was when barca had neymar and Suarez was on top form..barca of now isnt that lethal in attack,Suarez is a shadow of his former self Nd one can't really rely on dembele to hit the ground running...
even this current bayern isn't as dangerous as before but they still defeated that psg, believe me this current city can match any team in Europe with having a genuine chance of beating them, but my point is that even if they are beaten,it would b as a result of defensive discipline from the team and ruthless finishers, but to come out and play city attack for attack can only end one way

Are you saying the red card didn't have an impact cos at 1 vs 0, Liverpool always had a chance to come back in...
And talking about last season, Spurs beat City convincingly compared to Chelsea who rode their luck throughout the game.
luck??
luck by winning 2-1 and 3-1 in both legs ??

The red card had an impact bro. But their is no indication that Liverpool will be back in the game, ofcourse they could.
Yes true about last season, but this city Side is not same with last season

I reacted to the luck I saw in his post. If he had said he wants us to meet them so we can come at them as wounded lions and deserve our victory, not hoping for them to have a bad and we ride our luck

Lolz I get what you mean

Which one be Fellaini's absence sef

Lineup seems okay. Mata and Lingard can link attack and defense. Hererra can run around like he's used to and Matic will do his thing. I'm counting on Lukaku to score and I hope Rashford has part ways with his demon.

But what if Mourinho is planning another "defensive masterclass?"

Injury/contract negotiation. We don't know. Mourinho is tight-lipped about many things.

Personally I think the title race is over. Kudos to that bald prick.
We should be looking to cement the 2nd spot or worse case scenario finish somewhere inside top 4 while managing to pick one or 2 cups along the way. I cannot complain about that.

Planning towards next season in terms of offloading deadwood and upgrading certain positions should start now, even from January.

Since October, I mentioned something like this, that City are in a class of their own. That was when some guys were angry we drew at Liverpool.

We need to maintain a good position in the league. If we cannot finish first, we shouldn't finish below 3rd. We must go to Champions League first and foremost.

Guardiola can also be cautious when not having key players available? So why do some blame Mourinho for being cautious when not having Pogba, Bailly and Fellaini?

Mourinho is very intelligent. We kept a potential top four team 7 points below us, instead of risky opening the game and losing all three points to them. Beat all the small teams, collect a few points from the big teams, you could be champion except there is a very consistent team.

Let’s not deceive ourselves, City is currently better. We don't have to chase them and throw away vital points in the process.

Players just returned from international break. The Liverpool team can be very good sometimes against the top sides. That was what happened today, despite the defensive approach. Liverpool are also very mobile covering so much kilometers, so Martial and Mkhitaryan gassed out quickly. The substitutes were even worse.

At the end Our keeper saved one great attempt, theirs saved one great attempt. The match ended 0-0

From October 14th after Liverpool's game.

I have since acknowledged the superiority of Manchester City.

Very poor performance, we are not pressing well enough and the quality of our play has been generally before par.
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by patrickmuf(m): 3:44pm On Dec 17, 2017
Much better especially from Rashford...Lukaku should remain in the box, it's where he is most effective.

It's not that bad. We've been trying to break them down and they've hardly troubled De Gea. Lukaku seems to have gained weight.

We need a second goal soon.
