And the rom with battery drain is a developer rom with weekly releases, so expect a new rom this weekend. Ask for reviews here if you have any doubt.

A partial contact issue on one of the integrated circuits is the culprit

Though you refused to tell us , the nature of accident you were involved in earlier in the year, you would need to purchase a new LCD+ Digitizer assembly

Don't try to be smart by replacing the digitizer

Can you recommend any site on Aliexpress where I can buy the entire LCD and the digitizer together?
Do you recommend I buy the entire charging port component also from Aliexpress?

Can you recommend any technician that can replace the screen when I buy it and who can have the phone 'checked'?
I live in the Ikeja neighbourhood but have a morbid fear of dealing with random Computer village technicians.

You might need to start backing up your files, download the rom again, and reflash or do a factory reset, that should solve all issues apart from the screen.

You are using note 3 pro se.

I just pray it's software and not hardware like you have said because getting parts for this particular model is difficult.

Like Gptech advised, download the full rom and flash again.

But if you want to get the parts, always mention to the seller that it's note 3 pro special edition 152mm. You might just be lucky to get screen, but I'm not sure of charging port.

Hello House,

I need help. I have a redmi 3 pro which I bought earlier this year having read, such great reviews about it on this thread.

I must say that the first few months with this phone was inexplicable bliss. Then just about a month ago, the honeymoon ended as I started experiencing some drawbacks.
Th first problem was that just out of nowhere the phone refused to charge while still on. I changed cables, chargers to no avail. Immediately I put it off and plugged it again, it started charging all over again. It is still in this state till date so I only get to charge it at night. Luckily that charge takes a full day which is fair enough. What could have gone wrong?

The second problem that showed up was the screen. At exactly the middle (horizontal) the screen does not respond to touch at all. So if you have to anything you type that requires a middle positioned alphabet then you are completely lost as there is no response. Is there anything that I can do to correct this issue short of changing the scree?

Thirdly, I noticed that the phone now goes off by itself and then immediately comes on again. So we have a consistent rebooting going on during the day in the course of my activities. You can also notice that when it is charging (when off) it still flicks on and stops at the point where it shows the MI logo and then goes off again. Can I get some help here please?

I need someone to advise. I still believe the Xiaomi brand is a good way to go. but I need to know if anyone has experienced this before and how we can go about it.
