I can drive 20hours at a stretch.... Some of us have trained our mind and body to drive...some drivers do Lagos to abuja/Kaduna/kano/Maiduguri etc..

Section F: DRIVING HOURS
There is time for everything. Many have embarked on journeys without adequate planning and management.

This has caused much avoidable crashes as drivers are prone to sleep on steering while driving.
A driver must rest for 15minutes after every 4 hours of driving. No single driver should drive more than 10 hours in 24 hours( or a day) Nigeria Highway code.

I admire your tenacity in the biz, but driving long hours daily overtime will be hazardous Bro. Teach your drivers to play safe.

And someone might be tempted to give this a shot, everyone's got their limit. Please if you can't do 10hours at a stretch, don't force yourself rather have a break in between.

Save your life, stop unnecessary competition

Google the word fatigue. No drug can treat it apart from rest.

Please train yourself to drive for 22hrs

You are right just that people need to push themselves to make ends meet. Too much push can be bad though. I tend to rest for extra hours after working for over 24hours (in between which I have little rest/short sleep)

2014 car for Uber in Nigeria?

Why you should not.
1 High cost of purchase, clearing alone is about 1.5million per 1
2 High maintenance cost
3 poor resale value of Sonata
4 The 2 sonata can buy you 5 corolla or 6 407 Peugeot

Too expensive... try something lower ... first Uber ride was 012 sonata... subsequent ones 2007-2008 kia rio 1.6L (3 presently and still intend buying more)

It's really depends on how u want to run ur biz model. I started with the mindset of C.H.S while using Uber model so vehicle will not b idle.

24 hrs on the road isn't same as 24hrs driving. Average of 12 trips a day might give u combined driving time of 16 hrs and of course not non stop.

I average about 12 trips a day and ur ubering skills should be able to managr ur energy effortlessly. I still can get up to 30- 45 mins rest in between.
