I transferred almost 6.2million naira out of my GTB account this afternoon at Ogoja road branch in Abakaliki to another bank. It's a useless anti-Igbo bank that gives no help to any customers. I'd been waiting for a time like this INNOSON issue to just part with them. GTB will gradually begin to ''feel it'' from this part of the country in no time.

I've just sent a letter of instruction to Accees Bank Plc to transfer my maturing Time-Deposit that matures on 27th of December to my account in GTbank

These are facts even the Bank already admitted to in court and judgement passed . So where you getting ur ow ideas frm I dnt know

He's claiming he's not a tribalist, if innoson wasn't an igbo man would he have done the same thing? hypocrisy.. They've already started giving it ethnic coloration. These guys are way too sentimental.

Don't mind the dumb man, tribalism have destroyed his thinking ability.
The dispute is between GTBank and Innoson but they have turned it into
a tribal fight. You only need to see the kind of toxic tribal comment being
made on facebook.
He forgot that he also has customers majority of whom are not Igbo, if
they decide to boycott his business he will start claiming victim.

In my own contribution, I believe everything should be handled with utmost sincerity. Putting the interest of Nigeria economy first.
Even, if Innoson was wrong, EFCC could have still handle the issue maturely.
At least granting him secret interrogation without this huge publicity in the spirit of Nigerians can manufacture vehicles today courtesy of Innoson group and for sake of potential foreign and local investors.

When I was doing my banking training/induction in 2012, we were told how many billions of dollars Dangote Group was owing then. He's still the riches man in Africa today. Shut down his company and kill many families in Africa.

Thanks.

What sort of bigotry reasoning is this ?!

So all Igbos aré supposed to close their acctounts. with GTB cos they have issues with Inosson .

So, if Gtb runs out of biz as they expected, what will happen to all Igbos working with them ?
Can Inosson employ them all ?

The writer sounds more like tribalist to me because he's allowing sentiments to judge his reasoning. The matter in question is a simple business dealings that went wrong, but the EFCC angle is completely different from GT bank conflict. Let's not jump into conclusions over issues we don't know the full details. Thanks

He is not sounding like a tribalist, he is a tribalist, just like most of them.

Just another gibberish you moshed. There are different ways to protest. I like the actions of this man. Am not an Igbo man, but what they did to Innoson is wrong. The president is just doing all he can to ruin easterners in his tenure but he can't. If I were more millionaires, I will not only close the account, but whoever persuade me with questions in the bank for closing the account will take a slap if possible face arrest before I finally close it. Useless people. People like you don't even know your direction rather waiting to steal peoples money.

Just because some sectional frustrated souls closed their accounts? That's a pure blackmail.

Na, rather because of public onslaught.

Infact the majority of people that would shout down the bank might not even have GTbank account, would not be related in anyway to Innonson.

Oga just out of pure wickedness... The would from their Tecno phone through social media run down obviously the best bank in Nigeria.

never underestimate the power of social media.

Igbos are the most clannish people on the surface of this world.
If I were Gtbank, for every account closed by an Igbo, an Igbo will get the boot out of the bank.

and to be candid , gtb will have problems if ibos start moving their accounts away . and ibo do have some serious serious silent billionaires

The people who can easily move their accounts away are those with chicken change
and small scale business.
Billionaires don't bank for banking sake and are unlikely to act petty,
most of them have outstanding long-term loans with their preferred bank,
moving their accounts away won't be that easy even if some want to.
