Innoson has won cases against GTBank in the high court and appeal court. GTBank claims he owes them and are in court. The EFCC (whose duty is to investigate economic and financial crimes against the state) has no business in this matter as it concerns the courts. This should not become an issue of tribe. It is purely a case of financial improprieties.
The writer of the article either does not have a firm knowledge of Trades and Documentation. If anyone could forge bills of lading and clear cargos from the ports,our banks who serve as consignees would have all been bankrupt by now.
On his assertions that GTBank still has the original bill of lading,banks can always get a copy if one is lost. How are we sure the consignee (GTBank) didn't get one?

In 2009, When innoson newly started his car manufacturing, the Ghanaian government came to Nigeria with delegates to visit his factory. At the end of the visit, they offered him land, guaranteed government support and tax incentives to leave Nigeria and come to Ghana. Innoson refused and said that he would rather stay with Nigeria. Mind you Nigerian government didn't do anything for him at that time. If anything, Nigerian government was busy seizing his goods at apapa wharf.

This is a lesson to igbos willing to sacrifice everything for Nigeria. It is not worth it. Never forget to diversify your assets all over Africa if possible and hold some of your wealth in foreign currency and bank.
