I always advice charging phones with a powerbank. Your charger took the hit this time, next time could easily be your Mi5's motherboard.........

Tap and hold the video file, go to more *open in another app. At the bottom, select the available option.

But why you tiff my font?

Some three shortcomings of Xiaomi redmi note 4.

i. Weak microphone
ii. Inferior proximity sensor;
When on call, it does not properly shut the screen.... It normally takes me some seconds to get it shut off.

iii. Double whatsApp notifications.

But there is a global rom for this device na. How do you mean the seller changed it to custom ROM? Your firmware should be 6***G, G being global.

The seller said the rom he installed is not an official firmware. Am planning on changing the rom sha. Buh am afraid of getting it bricked

Use proximity service app, to purge the proximity sensor...

For the others, no app can cure (but updates).......

You just noticed these or its been there since miui 8?

You'll need to clean install (fastboot) and recalibrate your sensor to correct ii and iii

thanks brother. This only solved the problem when playing a video through the file explorer. Default player still plays videos in the gallery.

As per the font, na the default font wey follow the phone come be that o shocked
