This saga is just a big lesson to other banks to be verry verry carefull before granting loans to fraudsters parading themselves as businessmen.

# No bank in this country should offer credit facilities to inoson again.

My understanding so far.
Innoson banks with GTB, accesses their facility and incurred wrong bank charges to the tune of over 700 million Naira.
After back and forth with GTB, he wins his suit to the tune of 8 billion Naira.
GTB feeling embarrassed exposes his business malpractices and fraudulent shipping documents and reports to EFCC.
EFCC being an antigraft agency summons him and he was discharged. They summon him again, this time he fails to honour the invitation. They move in on him to arrest him in his Enugu residence. He resists arrest and engages them with his own force. They call for back up, and things spiralled out of control. His wife gets slapped, he gets arrested.
That said, how did this turn to an inter-tribal witch-hunting?
It's simply a GTB VS Innoson fight. Pls let's always get our facts right and not let sentiments make a mockery of our intelligence and education.

And with the way innoson played a smart one on GTB, no bank in this country should offer him loan again.

A debtor claiming right. Wonders shall never end.
Maybe you should read the statement again, the arrest was for tax related matters and I think you're wrong that no bank will extend credit facilities to innnosun because right now he's a new target for marketers of other banks. Right now other banks are willing to doing business with him.
The fact is that GTB really bleeped up, this case shouldn't have been made public, GTB has a lot to loose in this saga than innosun but I'm sure GTB will come back strong.

You are the only one letting sentiment make mockery of your education. The case of forgery for which he was arrested was taken to a court. The court struck out the case due to lack of merit. The EFCC did not go further. Innoson went further to charge the court to dismiss the case and not just strike it out, and it is still in the Supreme Court.
If he was invited, how was he invited? Which document shows that he was invited?

He was informed before hand of the visit of Efcc, so he hurriedly mobilised his staffs to block their right of way & obstruct justice, just as Ifeanyi Uba also did before his arrest.
Allow the law take its course irrespective of tribe that's the way forward for us all.

See the scathing press release. " The business man who runs a local auto assembly plant". This statement belies the reason for the EFCC's failed attempt to humiliate Innoson. Let Buhari and his nonproductive cabal go and start their own auto assembly plant too. Sheer jealousy.

Barawo bubu has always been a jealous, incompetent fool who does not know how to manage an economy for making money hence he turned the prosperity handed over to him into recession.
That was how he cancelled Lagos metro project in 1984 out of tribal hatred and jealousy.
Who will save us from this wretch
2019, where art thou?

Splashme:
The first civilian governor of Lagos State, Alhaji Lateef Jakande, on Tuesday, said that the cancellation of the Lagos metroline project in 1985 was a major mistake and disservice to many Nigerians.

Jakande spoke in Lagos during the launch of a book which chronicled his life in politics and journalism.

The book, entitled, ‘Jakande: Leadership in Action’ is written by Dr. Bola Olaosebikan, who told the audience at the event that the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), was not responsible for the cancellation of the project.

Jakande said, “Reflecting on the metroline project, I think it is a major disservice to many Nigerians. Imagine how many people would have benefitted. It would have made life easier and changed the face of transport in Lagos. Whoever cancelled it or gave the advice towards its cancellation didn’t do right.”

The former governor asked Nigerians not to vote for unserious leaders in the coming polls, saying the elections presented Nigerians with a good opportunity that should not be squandered.

Expressing the hope that Nigeria would soon overcome its developmental challenges, Jakande said hope would be actualised faster if credible people emerged as leaders in the next dispensation.

He said, “This book comes at a very auspicious time in Nigeria’s history as we need leaders who can act. We need leaders who would not compromise the standards of good governance. God has blessed this nation the most in Africa, although we have not reached where we should be; with the right leaders, Nigeria would overcome its challenges.”

BeijinDossier:

Chief Chukwuma and his brother, Charles Chukwuma (who is still at large), are being investigated by the Insurance and Capital Market Fraud Section of the Commission’s office in Lagos over matters bordering on N1, 478, 366, 859.66 fraud and forgery.

The industrialist, among other infractions, allegedly used forged documents to secure tax waivers.

If this allegation is true, then he would face the law.

If he actually forged documents to get tax waivers. Then he is nothing but a common Yahoo boy and he deserves what he got.
The only thing on his side are his kinsmen who quickly ran online to offer only one side of the story.
And it wasn't a suprise that the National Assembly is condemning his arrest. What do one expect from a National Assembly where almost all the members are being investigated by EFCC . They are all crooks and criminals the lot of them
GTB are cooperate thieves and should be fined by the appropriate regulatory financial body for illegal deductions from a customer's account. It goes to show we are all conmen in this country. We just call it by different names when we are outed.
