RANDOM THOUGHTS: Mr. Market only reward those who refuse to argue with him...... NB: I silently/repeatedly argued/criticized Mr. Market on May & Baker earlier this year while most here bought their tickets to Disney World..... . Its part of learning. Why is it psychologically more soothing to oppose MARKET TIDES to our eventual ruin? I am currently formatting my virus infected investment mindset based on my 2017 experiences. If I had followed simple rules, I would have been reading you guys from an isolated island filled with palm trees and blossoming flowers distilled in morning dews. I am CONSISTENTLY the greatest obstacle to my own success. At times a little patience of just 72hrs is what make my brokers to go on an unauthorized/substituted vacation on my behalf ... You never plant and wait at the field for the plants to germinate. Why constantly dig up in the afternoon and night what was planted in the morning to check if it is germinating? My village people are my deformed thought processes and I am ready for the battle of attrition NEXT year, by God's grace.... 4 Likes |

tritritri: Well first and foremost thank God you were able to convert your paper profit into cash than being deceived by fellas whose business is buy stocks with their mouth and always claim to be sitting on 1000% profit year in year out. all na wash. A lot in this forum and still trying to break even ever since they place their first trade on NSE. So NEWBIES don't be deceived by teeth shining it's only an act of CONSOLATION. *ThE OcToPuS* 2 Likes

DeRuggedProf:The thought should be in sorry mode. Note, you can still position yourself between January and February, because you can get most stocks at their discount and cheaper rate then. No money making in jijo style, but look for sound fundamental stocks, and keep positioning yourself in it, that is the answer. Buy for investment and divided purpose, makes one a multi million, because even when there is trace back, you will not panic, as far as the stock you are into still have strong fundamental. There is another stock that will perform superb next year as Dangote flour performed this year. Those that talk too much don't make money, always talk little, or when the need arise, and always remember to carry out your research. 1 Like |

DOLLARTEX: Why the police presence?? GTB needs to engage shareholders and state if what we have been reading on social media is true. The amount sued for will kill any listed firm in Nigeria. Can they acknowledge they wrote to Innoson stating that they charged excess of N500m for the period under consideration? If this is true, then people should use their tongues to count their teeth!!! |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Nobody: 6:35pm On Dec 21, 2017 |
BMZK: The whole saga started with excess charge deducted by GTB as claimed by Innoson. Is this fact correct? They should spare us this story and address shareholders. |

currentprice: If this happened, it is finished! Except if the board of GTB will come and deny that the people who wrote and acknowledged the letter of excess charge were rouge elements in the bank ooo. Otherwise, everything said by Innoson will happen. Even if they settle out if court, be sure that over N50b will be paid with lots of dobale( fayose type with Zenith) 1 Like |

RabbiDoracle:innoson is a good business man and am sure he would be laughing at the meetings with gtb officials as if nothing serious all is just for gtb to acknowledge the said excess charges. as he achieved this gave him the confident to went ahead and cleared the goods he used as collateral without the consent of gtb when gtb held the original clearing documents ..eeennh the excess charge is not 700m it is 500m is that a good excuse,,,gtbank already fall hand,,, they should know better |

MSCI IS RESTING ADDED NOTHING ON 19TH. POSITION AS AT 20 DECEMBER 2017 IS ATTACHED The Fund is sort of finished with the main activity for 2017. However, more cash is available for necessary firing power in 2018. Caution: Investing is a risky venture. This is just my opinion and I cannot be liable for any loss suffered as a result of following this recommendation All data used are assumed to be correct, but you may need to verify some of the figures independently. You can check data at https://www.globalxfunds.com/funds/nge/ for the movement in the MSCI Nigeria fund

currentprice: Some lousy managers must have messed up GTB if this is true because I doubt if the bank with all the good corporate responsibility/standing one hear about them will knowingly want to defraud their customers especially a high net-worth one like Innoson motors. However, this is Nigeria where you can never trust most corporate managers. Hmm all good things in this country are being destroyed #SAD |
