investorD:MBBS is MBBS, as long as you graduated from one of the 38 medical schools in Nigeria, you are good to go. The professors and Doctors in these two schools you have mentioned don't have two heads. Its not a new thing that people would want to hype their own school. The only form of inequality I know of in medical school comes to play when you are talking about specialisation in a particular field. I'm not above correction though 6 Likes 1 Share |

Brukx: With all due respect, medical schools are not the same. For instance, only select medical schools in Nigeria are recognised by most states medical boards in the United States. |

Brukx: Check the Medical Board of California for instance which is the standard for most other states. http://www.mbc.ca.gov/Applicants/Medical_Schools/Schools_Recognized.aspx 1 Like 1 Share |

Profcamsey: It is not a laughing matter neither is it a joke but a fact. EKSU for instance is not recognised by the Medical Board of California. |
Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by Profcamsey(m): 8:24am On Dec 22, 2017 |
Godspell:Because it's not yet fully accredited and hasn't produced any graduates. Once school is fully accredited by MDCN , your graduates are recognized anywhere and you can sit for medical exams. Don't argue anymore before they come for you. 3 Likes 1 Share |
Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by Godspell: 8:45am On Dec 22, 2017 |
Profcamsey: I see, but even some schools that have been producing graduates are not on the list. Aspirants need to know the facts so they can make the right choice. Even here in Nigeria not all medical schools are recognized by the MDCN. Check this out: http://www.mdcnigeria.org/RecognizedSch.htm And why the threat? Are you even a medic because I don't expect such behaviour from you. We are just talking about facts here that can be proven. And get it straight I don't succumb to threats nobody can come for me. |

Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by Profcamsey(m): 1:41pm On Dec 22, 2017 |
Godspell: My God! That statement doesn't mean threat, I meant you shouldn't let people see this , they will yab you if they do. Btw, those are the list of accredited school by MDCN. Any school that's not there is recognized but not with full accreditation. I think you just enter med school? Relax you will know much soon. 4 Likes 1 Share |
