I disagree, Felix Uduokhai has been exceptional and will make the german squad in the next few years if he keeps playing and improving. Getting him will be a coup.

Akpoguma has not really shown much so far but he was good in the youth ranks,
well then. but felix is the one who looks most unlikely to play for us because of the possibilities of playing for Die Manschafft. Sincerely I will be happy if we get this guys but i worry about our Backline fielding too young players at the WC although these guys will most likely be backups.

Let me ask again, where the hell was Cristiano Ronaldo? Did anyone see him today? Anywhere?? If you see him, please bring him down to Santiago Bernabeu ... his team needs him!

Ronaldo was lively, not his best match but definetly not his worst.

And this is rather ironic, you were the one defending Iwobi the other day saying Arsenal as a team performed badly, now you are picking out Ronaldo(who had a better first half than Messi, well maybe not but definetly close) to blame him for Madrid's collective shutdown in the second half?

@SAFARIGIRL, In every field, being an expert differentiates one from ones competition. Expertness comes with experience.

Experience doesn't immune you to mistakes but it reduces your chance of committing one cos time has allowed you to learn from such mistakes over the years.

So, the same rule applies to Football. Have you ever imagine why countries don't use u-20s as their main goalkeepers at the Men's world cup? It is simply because they are not Men yet.

to deny or make light of experience is to rubbish a deep essence of human nature and not just human beings but all sentient beings: we are learning beings. without experience we are flat, colorless, edgeless beings, without stories, mere hollow men. enyeama must have learnt some things over the years which now form the repertoire of his skills set- things which uzoho is now just learning. recently an interview by Uzoho was posted and he mentioned Enyeama as one gk he looked up to.

youth has its place, experience has its place, talent has its place and every other factor that goes to make a team. each one is imprtant.

Classic komenk was expecting this from you.
My point man is you sugarcoat the players you have a preference for regardless of thier form or how terrible they are, you never even say a thing when they have bad games. You say football is an unforgiving game and according to your statements 1 year is too long in football but you keep bringing that iorfa won motm awards in the championship which was like 3years ago When trying to asses players to call up when we know the guy is not even getting games at Ipswich, why do you contradict yourself, Same with onyedinma won motm at championship at 18 now 21 still at the same level if it's not dropped sef . How can you say you support the SE and your comments are always so soaked deep in bias and myopia? you will come all out to dissect some of our players and thier flaws, Just to make them appear incompetent, you ruthlessly criticize them without considering the type of backgrounds our players are from and you know all to well that they do not enjoy the training facilities your boys do! so how do you expect them to perform magic when faced against European rivals whom enjoyed better everything! Its totally unfair to compare them but the ones who still manage to make it you will come out one day when they drop form and start yarning dust you are not sure of. you dont have to degrade and bring our player down everytime you want to pass a little point, coz that's what you do, nitpick on Our players. you hardly talk about our players don't even acknowledge them, only time you do is when you have something negative to say with the same flawed references you bring up. I don't have any personal issues with you but you have a reputation and you should know your action(your comments) will always cause a reaction.

Your position is becoming clearer to me and I understand where you are coming from a lot more.

But before I proceed, I will reiterate remove emotive sentiment from your deductions and move just for a little bit from being a fan to say an analyst.

I have highlighted a number of things in bold in your write up to create clarity in my response.
Dominic Iorfa is not a bench warmer, he has played most games this season about 16 out of the 22 games Ipswich has been involved in. He had hamstring strain and other minor injuries so it has not been plane sailing for him. So essentially you have presented a complete untruth, calling him a bench warmer that does not get games.

Frank Onyedinma has in my opinion has very poor advisers. He rejected an open offer to Watford and various offers to Arsenal, Man U. in the past. This season he has been disappointing primarily because the current manager is a blood and guts kick, rush and endeavour approach to football. The opportunity for free-flowing football is limited and technical players suffer in that environment as a result the carpenter players are more favoured over him.

However, my recommendations are based on comparison to the level of players getting invited or who are still in the SE . So, if Nwakali, Success, Osimhen, Nwaekeme, Awuziem etc can be invited why not them.

Being invited is not selection for the SE it is simply consideration to see if you have something to add to what we have in the SE. It’s about continuous improvement.

Iorfa is compared to Omeruo because they play the same positions, the only comparative stat we have is when they played in the Championship at the same time, 3 years ago and Iorfa was a teenager, but was rated higher than him winning best young player and MOTM awards. This is to say the possibility exists that he could be better. That’s objective justification based on comparison Omeruah is in Turkey its not the a top league.

When I advise players particularly when coming from Africa including Nigeria. I try some reorientation they need to understand the environment they are in. The organisational culture, the units used to measure competence, ability and effectiveness. What the expectations are the mannerisms and etiquette. If you do not know these things you will fail.

Nobody cares about how difficult it was for you, nobody is going to be lenient with you or make allowances for whatever difficulties you may or may not have. You have very little time to impress and failure is not far away.

I would be doing African players a complete disservice if I patted them on the back and told them about all the inherent nepotism, favoritism, racism and corruption in English football. And said its not your fault it’s the coach. We have to find away to overcome and impress these coaches and managers, bring on board racist, ignorant buffoons of English coaches who didn’t even go to school. Because that’s how we succeed against all odds not by complaining and pointing fingers and looking for excuses and who we can apportion blame too. In other words I prepare them for war physical, psychological, issues of bullying in the team from your white team mates, etc, etc.

Finally , if you approach this football from sentiment and emotion and you then get emotional you will fail. The mental resilience needed to succeed is crazy sometimes.

Finally , finally you have made an erroneous demarcation between Nigeria origin players and players coming from Nigeria. The only difference is cultural expectations, issues of integrity and that they are not desperate to concede to the demands of NFF officials.

We also think some of them are not Naija enough. For instance I speak pidgin to Ovie and speak Yoruba to Bobby at Liverpool FC the latter actually finished me because my Yoruba is very very basic, and his is fluent.

I am not rubbishing experience, but what happens when you don't have that?

Okay. Let's put the experienced Ezenwa in goal for the World Cup, why get jittery about his performance? He has experience

If Italy had qualified for World Cup, who would have been their first choice goalie?

I think you really need to revisit the bolded...rather him and his father have not been straightforward...
his father was hoping that his son will play for England....and as such use "my son will play for Nigeria when he clocks 23" excuse.....
only to get served...now His son wanna opt play for Nigeria....he should keep waiting the way him and his father kept us waiting....

I know...you will see this as prejudice and biased...but please I am not against any British players....
even right now....one player I crave for to see in the super eagles defense after the world cup is Tomori of Chelsea....
I like his commitment and zeal towards the super eagles....

but for this ilorfa he wanna play for us...reason His 3 lions dream is no more a reality.....

My point is why is Jordan using the reason of his father?
His father has some unresolved past with Nigeria which is why he has advised his son against it. But how are u so sure that Jordan doesn’t secretly fancy playing for us?
I don’t know how u were raised.
But even while growing up even though I had to obey my dad most times it didn’t mean I always agreed with him.
Jordan will play for Nigeria even if it’s after Russia. My reason? Because he keeps quoting his dad. Doesn’t sound like his saying that is what he really wants.
AND THATS IF OGN’s REPORT IS TRUE.

My Son Won’t Play For Nigeria – Father Of Bundesliga Rising Star Torunarigha Tell Rohr
May 15, 201703620

Former Nigeria youth international forward Ojokojo Torunarigha has confirmed his son Jordan Torunarigha is not interested in playing for the senior national team of Nigeria.

Torunarigha is rated as one of the upcoming defenders in the German Bundesliga, where he scored his first senior goal over the weekend in their 2-0 win over Darrmstadt from his role as a left back.

He is presently with the U-20 team of Germany, and his father confirmed Nigeria have approached his son over a switch of allegiance as exclusively reported by Owngoalnigeria.com, but he told them his son is not interested in playing for Nigeria.

” I always say to him play like you can play football, and you can see it has helped him progress from the youth team of Hertha Berlin to the main team, and also for Germant through U-16 and now U-20. We were approached by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

They wanted my son to play for Nigeria but I told them he is not interested “, said the father who played 12 matches for Nigeria and also represented Chemnitzer FC in the 1990s.

Presently he works at Hertha Berlin as coach of the U-10 of the Bundesliga side, and aside Jordan his other son Junior plays for Dutch second division side Fortuna Sittard, who are coached by former coach of the Nigeria national team Sunday Oliseh.

http://owngoalnigeria.com/2017/05/15/my-son-wont-play-for-nigeria-father-of-bundesliga-rising-star-torunarigha-tell-rohr/

However his father Ojokojo who played 12 games for Nigeria in the 80’s revealed he told Nigeria that his son is not interested. A claim which Jordan has now confirmed.

Jordan is yet to team up with the Germany U-20 team at the World Youth Championship in South Korea due to the club duties, and he reckons progressing through the ranks at Germany is his aim.

I was told of the interest from Nigeria by my father but as someone who has played for Nigeria in the past, he advised me to focus on progressing through the ranks with Germany instead of considering a switch to Nigeria “, he said.

Whether he said it or nor is inconsequential to me because me I still want us to get him but for clarification sake, you can read the reason he has not pledged to play for us.

I think Ojokojo had a bad experience with the National team. I have seen a few statements by him that were not complimentary as far back as 1994. He talked about tribal separation in the team, talked about how National team players are reviled when they fail. etc

I am sure, these are the kinds of things, he is telling his child. The report is not surprising

Bro Cristiano Ronaldo is supposed to be the best player in the world, so we expected him to show class, especially considering his supporting cast. On current form, how many Barca players can start on combined Real Madrid/Barcelona team? Probably only Leo Messi! Tells you how good Messi is to carry this team to victory.

They said he can't do it without Xavi and Iniesta. Today he's doing it.
They said he can't do it without Neymar. Today he's doing it.
In today's football, there's only one player you can't do it without. And his name is Leo Messi. If you doubt me ask the Argentine national team!

Yes, of course. You grow, and as time goes by you improve as well, picking up new things along the way. As I’ve grown older I’ve grown on the pitch too. - Messi speaking to FIFA.com
