Nura Mohammed is the youngest player to feature for the Super Eagles- He turned 15 this month. He's had it rough though.
I wonder if anyone has any videos of him playing. I've never seen him play but I would like to.
The caption is misleading but it's an interesting article.

His videos are on this thread he was the MVP at the NPFL U15 la liga invitational tourny where they lost to Atletico Madrid in the final.

Iheanacho out of match day squad
He should seek out of that club either on loan or buy. Leicester is under utilising him. He as well should sacrifice, hire a personal coach and trainer and work really hard to become ruthless

The boy is young.. I do not know if he is actually 15 but he looks like a teenager.

These are the players, i want to see in CHAN. Youthful talent. Not the Rabiu Alis of this world...

I want to understand something here, how come Messi didn't open the scoring here? Suarez's goal had NOTHING to do with Messi, it was great play from Busquets, Rakitic and Roberto, however here you want us all to believe that every other barca player is a bench-piece at best for other clubs. Messi's goal was a penalty which he didn't even get himself, it was Pique's header that got the spotkick but of course nobody else plays football in Barce except Leo Messi. The third goal would not have been a goal if Navas had better gloves and guess what? It was scored by Vidal but you want us to understand that these guys are useless. If you truly watched this match(and the last match against Derpotivo) you would see that Iniesta's class is still there and guess what? We dominated both games like we have never done all season without prime Iniesta. You said Busquets has slowed down? Maybe that's what you want to believe just so that you put him down and exhault Messi but bottomline is that 19 other teams would kiill their coaches just to get Busquets to play a season for them. I need not mention Ter Stegen who denied Ronaldo and Bale certain goals or maybe Umtiti who has been the best CB in the Spanish league this season or Alba or even to a lesser extent, Roberto. These guys have been doing very well, we can argue that Suarez has been off(he has been picking up lately) and Rakitic isn't the guy he once was, so we can say Messi is carrying our attack but saying that he is the only guy doing it all for the team is false, he is contributing his quota and then some which is a great thing but do you think he can do it alone without these guys I mentioned? Then go and check Tata Martino's season
You're totally wrong sir. Messi is the general overseer of both the Catalans (Barça) and the Albeceleste (his national team) as a matter of fact. Ronaldo is good but the small-statured magician is a wizard in the beautiful game of soccer. He posseses all Ronaldo's abilities but the reverse is far from the case. mind you, a Real Madrid fan but I never see any reason to be sentimental and decieve myself.

I believe He's that small- statured soccer magician one Argentine man (perhaps a sorcerer) spoke about that would exist, a number of decades ago.

Thanks man! This is an early Christmas present grin
And to make a good thing even better, Manchester City added a bonus as well.

Bros, that first half miss by C. Ronaldo almost sent me into cloud 9. I posted the clip on twitter tongue
One thing I know for sure, Cristiano Ronaldo will have a cold Christmas.

TheGoodJoe:

You are blowing the Messi performance out of proportion. He had a good game but certainly was not overwhelming. Messi was still in the team when Real Madrid whipped Barca in the Super Cup. Celebrate the win but do not overblow it like Messi tore Real Madrid down. CR7's early miss was the problem, if not the outcome would have been different.

Congrats.

you fail to get the point. i might not have shown up for some years but when i do show you have to deal with the kind of mentality that i show up with. for example we have missed the last two afcons but opposing teams will have to deal with the kind of mentality that we show up with when eventually we qualify. God bless any team that should say ha, nigeria, they have missed the last two afcons, is it now that they remember that they are eagles? there's a certain naivety in your question though.

Please tell me how many Chelsea players, under Mourinho, that completed a successful loan move. That's not Mourinho's style. Mourinho's style is to send a player on loan, forget him and keep buying the best players on the planet. Mourinho has no idea how to develop a player. Today we're celebrating VicMo, but I can tell you that he would still have been going out on loans if Mourinho is still in charge at Chelsea.

Bottom line, Omeruo was just unlucky to have Mourinho in charge at the time he hit his best form.

O pari

You are being evasive and undoubtedly moving the goal post.

I was objectively clear with verifiable fact and asked you to simply say what makes Omeruo great I asked you to be objective and if need be use comparative analysis.

Playing for a very competitive world class star studded Chelsea is not always the end game but how far you can progress in your football career.

It is clear you do not understand the structure and delivery set up for youth players in English professional football clubs. The manager has limited input on loan moves and the club operates a more long term strategy for youth development. Managers who are short term in their delivery are not overly focused on emerging young players unless they are clearly outstanding in comparison to what they have.

List of players who developed at Chelsea when Mourinho was there and have kept developing, Nathan Ake, Traore, Musonda, Solanke, Lukaku, Tega, Aina, Jeremie Boga, Isaiah Brown, Kasey Palmer, Kurt Zouma (19 year old at the time who played 58 games for Chelsea over two seasons under Mourinho) to mention a few.

Omeruo went on loan to Middlesborough for a whole season who according to you he was having the best form of his life, but was far from outstanding in the Championship there wasn't a Que of clubs waiting to sign him. He has been a journey man footballer since now settling down in the mid range clubs of the Turkish division.

So I ask again, you have rated him higher than Gary Cahill, what makes him GREAT.

Please remain objective with verifiable statistics and comparisons.

My point is that Jose Mourinho rarely recalls players from loan. He would rather look for established stars from elsewhere. I don't have much to say about Omeruo's sojourn in the championship since I barely watch championship games; however, based on what I saw of him with the Super Eagles in 2013, I will rate him higher than Gary Cahill. And you can't tell me what national team performance wouldn't count in evaluating a player's ability because Gabriel Jesus did not play any single Euro league match before he was snatched by Manchester City.

I think you really need to revisit the bolded...rather him and his father have not been straightforward...
his father was hoping that his son will play for England....and as such use "my son will play for Nigeria when he clocks 23" excuse.....
only to get served...now His son wanna opt play for Nigeria....he should keep waiting the way him and his father kept us waiting....

I know...you will see this as prejudice and biased...but please I am not against any British players....
even right now....one player I crave for to see in the super eagles defense after the world cup is Tomori of Chelsea....
I like his commitment and zeal towards the super eagles....

but for this ilorfa he wanna play for us...reason His 3 lions dream is no more a reality.....

In my opnion based on games watched and feedback from the club he is not god enough and has a lot more to learn.

With regards to Dominic, I want you to consider that what actually goes on in football is never usually published, so move away from the media rubbish. I really can not say more than that.

When i see Solanke as good as he I See a big disconnect towards Nigeria (long story ) but when speak my very basic Yoruba too Bobby Adekanya i see identity entirely anchored on Nigeria. However, is that all we need So i would rather select Solanke because he brings more to the football table a lot more.

Biased - unfairly prejudiced for or against someone or something. In this regard you are too quick to make deductions in the negative about players you know absolutely nothing about. If you notice i do not talk personality of players unless i know them. I absolutely do not rely on news media hype and or unverifiable information.

Of course, he is. He would be one of our key players in the Russia. You know, it's too easy to overlook Ndidi's contribution in a game because he's not flashy like Mahrez or Demary Gray but he's the engine room of any the team. Bottom line, if you're a purist like us, you'd need to watch Ndidi to see the whole game. Players of that quality are rare ... right now, I can only think of: Casemiro (Real Madrid); N'Golo Kante (Chelsea) Sergio Busquests (Barcelona); Fernandinho(ManCity); Michael Carrick and Matic (Man Utd).

In contemporary football once a team gets to major tournaments its best one treats them with healthy respect.

Senegal were minnows in 2002. After 90 minutes France knew better. Croatia were not just minnows at France 98. They were unknown minnows(notwithstanding they were part of the former yugoslavia). And just before someone else takes a superficial reading of my post and concludes that I am hyping Iceland let me say I am not. I am only giving a clue as to the mentality with which they as our opponents will come into games. I trust we read how rohr looked at things even from a geographical view point.

For example with the Argentines lets be ready to deal with an opponent whose mentality accepts guile and deception as part of the game.

When in form, Omeruo is easily the best Nigerian CB. I say this with all sincerity.
Take a look at his opta stats against Bosnia.

100% tackels won against a feared striker like Dzeko.
Unreal stuff
