Iheanacho out of match day squad He should seek out of that club either on loan or buy. Leicester is under utilising him. He as well should sacrifice, hire a personal coach and trainer and work really hard to become ruthless |

There are some se players that must not scent injury 2months to the mundial. Is Ndidi part of them? We know who tops this list. |

Mickael2:You're totally wrong sir. Messi is the general overseer of both the Catalans (Barça) and the Albeceleste (his national team) as a matter of fact. Ronaldo is good but the small-statured magician is a wizard in the beautiful game of soccer. He posseses all Ronaldo's abilities but the reverse is far from the case. mind you, a Real Madrid fan but I never see any reason to be sentimental and decieve myself. I believe He's that small- statured soccer magician one Argentine man (perhaps a sorcerer) spoke about that would exist, a number of decades ago. 1 Like |

Thanks man! This is an early Christmas present And to make a good thing even better, Manchester City added a bonus as well. Bros, that first half miss by C. Ronaldo almost sent me into cloud 9. I posted the clip on twitter One thing I know for sure, Cristiano Ronaldo will have a cold Christmas. O pari TheGoodJoe: |

Jarus:you fail to get the point. i might not have shown up for some years but when i do show you have to deal with the kind of mentality that i show up with. for example we have missed the last two afcons but opposing teams will have to deal with the kind of mentality that we show up with when eventually we qualify. God bless any team that should say ha, nigeria, they have missed the last two afcons, is it now that they remember that they are eagles? there's a certain naivety in your question though. 1 Like |

Icon79: You are being evasive and undoubtedly moving the goal post. I was objectively clear with verifiable fact and asked you to simply say what makes Omeruo great I asked you to be objective and if need be use comparative analysis. Playing for a very competitive world class star studded Chelsea is not always the end game but how far you can progress in your football career. It is clear you do not understand the structure and delivery set up for youth players in English professional football clubs. The manager has limited input on loan moves and the club operates a more long term strategy for youth development. Managers who are short term in their delivery are not overly focused on emerging young players unless they are clearly outstanding in comparison to what they have. List of players who developed at Chelsea when Mourinho was there and have kept developing, Nathan Ake, Traore, Musonda, Solanke, Lukaku, Tega, Aina, Jeremie Boga, Isaiah Brown, Kasey Palmer, Kurt Zouma (19 year old at the time who played 58 games for Chelsea over two seasons under Mourinho) to mention a few. Omeruo went on loan to Middlesborough for a whole season who according to you he was having the best form of his life, but was far from outstanding in the Championship there wasn't a Que of clubs waiting to sign him. He has been a journey man footballer since now settling down in the mid range clubs of the Turkish division. So I ask again, you have rated him higher than Gary Cahill, what makes him GREAT. Please remain objective with verifiable statistics and comparisons. |

My point is that Jose Mourinho rarely recalls players from loan. He would rather look for established stars from elsewhere. I don't have much to say about Omeruo's sojourn in the championship since I barely watch championship games; however, based on what I saw of him with the Super Eagles in 2013, I will rate him higher than Gary Cahill. And you can't tell me what national team performance wouldn't count in evaluating a player's ability because Gabriel Jesus did not play any single Euro league match before he was snatched by Manchester City. Humility017: In my opnion based on games watched and feedback from the club he is not god enough and has a lot more to learn. With regards to Dominic, I want you to consider that what actually goes on in football is never usually published, so move away from the media rubbish. I really can not say more than that. When i see Solanke as good as he I See a big disconnect towards Nigeria (long story ) but when speak my very basic Yoruba too Bobby Adekanya i see identity entirely anchored on Nigeria. However, is that all we need So i would rather select Solanke because he brings more to the football table a lot more. Biased - unfairly prejudiced for or against someone or something. In this regard you are too quick to make deductions in the negative about players you know absolutely nothing about. If you notice i do not talk personality of players unless i know them. I absolutely do not rely on news media hype and or unverifiable information. |

Of course, he is. He would be one of our key players in the Russia. You know, it's too easy to overlook Ndidi's contribution in a game because he's not flashy like Mahrez or Demary Gray but he's the engine room of any the team. Bottom line, if you're a purist like us, you'd need to watch Ndidi to see the whole game. Players of that quality are rare ... right now, I can only think of: Casemiro (Real Madrid); N'Golo Kante (Chelsea) Sergio Busquests (Barcelona); Fernandinho(ManCity); Michael Carrick and Matic (Man Utd). It is very sad the way Omeruo's handlers handled him. I feel it is another case of agents/managers more interested in keeping a huge paying contract over finding a way to develop the player. Omeruo was a bright revelation playing for Keshi at the AFCON. A young player standing tall in a field of Giants. The highlight of his performance in the AFCON we conquered was when he marked out Drogba and Drogba could not muster a shot on target. And, I doubt Cahill could pull off the feat Omeruo did at the AFCON. Sad he went downhill from there but his talent showed in the game against Zambia during the qualifiers. The game he made a mistake. Apart from the mistake, I saw a field Marshall. I hope he finds his form to add to our pool of quality defenders. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Hi guys! Learnt ndidi is having a great game against the red devils but shouldn't he be serving a one-match ban due to the redcard he got in his last match ? |

tbaba1234: Minnows or not they are on the world stage now and you have to deal with the mentality they show up with. I am sure England disdcalled them perenial minnows but when they came up against the cold determination of these No rsemen they knew better. In contemporary football once a team gets to major tournaments its best one treats them with healthy respect. Senegal were minnows in 2002. After 90 minutes France knew better. Croatia were not just minnows at France 98. They were unknown minnows(notwithstanding they were part of the former yugoslavia). They went up to the semis. So calling them perennial minnows takes nothinig from the fact that they are the descendants of the Vikings And just before someone else takes a superficial reading of my post and concludes that I am hyping Iceland let me say I am not. I am only giving a clue as to the mentality with which they as our opponents will come into games. I trust we read how rohr looked at things even from a geographical view point. For example with the Argentines lets be ready to deal with an opponent whose mentality accepts guile and deception as part of the game. 2 Likes |
