Can't you see the link-up play and understanding between Paulinho and Messi? Yesterday alone, Paulinho would have scored an hat-trick. No thanks to that Madrid keeper.

Messi was directly involved in all of those Paulinho's goal attempts.

BTW, I'm not here to discuss Paulinho vs Roberto. Both have different styles of play. When you see Roberto, remember Iniesta.

nice point but paulinho is still yet to convince me. let's see what happens at the end of the season tho

Paulinho played very well yesterday bro

He is an attacking midfielder and not a central midfielder so don't expect him to do xavi's job

In fact, he shd always be in our starting eleven

Remember, no Madrid player has scored more goals than him in LA liga this season
point noted. let's see how he performs in the rest of the league

It backfired big time..In the second half Kovacic was tasked with following Messi around..If you watch our first goal,Instead of Kovacic to close down Rakitic,He kept running towards Messi and thus Clear road for Rakitic..It was sweet to watch!.
Exactly! That shows how myopic Kovacic is... Football comes first before any other thing. Yeah, given, you were tasked with man-marking Messi. But then, does that mean if Messi leaves the pitch you'd go with him abandoning your teammates? He wasn't wise at all...

Look at those we have back here!
Dmcdad? Philapheron? Darkrebel? That's the magic of Classico!

By the way, Messi still owns me an explanation as to why he had to punish Marrcelo that wickedly before setting up Vidal for the third goal in front of Ronaldo. Pure magic!
Mehn... The match was a joy to watch. They had their chances and could have killed the game in the first period, but thank goodness they were sloppy. We had ours in the second period and made them pay for their sloppiness.

Meanwhile, to digress a bit... Man City will be celebrating Christmas with 13 points. Wow. I thought this day would never come in EPL, but lo and behold, the same overrated Pep is doing wonders with a City side not too great in my opinion. Yes, they are good and they have some world class players, but come on, they are nowhere near Barça's invincibles, and yet they're doing the Lord's work in the supposed Almighty EPL. Na wa ooooo. Wonders will indeed never end.

Imagine this useless Madrid side and some people will wish PSG is eliminated from the UCL because of their hatred for Neymar. I don't like Chelsea, ever! But compared to Madrid? I love them with the full strength of my heart.cheesy

It's a pity some Barcelona fans haven't learnt their lesson. Because we beat Madrid 3-0, you think they've lost it? This is the 3rd time we defeated them @ Bernabeu, but Madrid are back to back UCL champions.

Come February, Real Madrid will activate their beast mode. I don't see PSG beating them. Expect Ronaldo to activate his February - May tap-in form.

My desire is that Barcelona shouldn't burn out by then. We should keep firing in all cylinder and be very active @ the latter stages like semi final and final.

Man city can destroy the EPL as expected. But when it comes to Europe, the TRINITY are still there. I don't see Man city beating any of them in 2 legged tie.

When it comes to semi finals and finals, Madrid always defeat Barcelona (90%). It's a sad fact. The records are there.

I am happy for Pep for proving the epl guys wrong. He's not only dominating but also doing it with the style they said was never possible. The narrative has changed though. What we keep hearing now is how he has to spend to play beautifully and I keep asking, does that means other managers are spending papers? Why nobody ever told us the kind of dominance and style could be possible in Epl provided a manager is able to assemble the right legs? Why the sudden change of narrative? Well; that's epl fan boys for you.

As regards PSG and RM, I doubt if a true Cule would prefer RM qualifying over PSG. I want to believe all what we read here are just jokes. What's my biz in having many Spanish teams in UCL to be favouring Madrid to qualify? Any team with a chance of knocking out Madrid has my full support.

As regards Neymar, he only becomes an enemy the day he joins Madrid. He's always my boy irrespective of the heartbreak he caused me when he left.

I want Madrid out of the UCL

1. So Neymar can be great (I'm over the fact he left, but he was once a barca player, who undoubtedly has written his name in our history, and has my full support)

2. So Penaldo's woes can keep stacking

3. Madrid Issa rival.. They must lose.. If this was sevilla or Athletico, I probably would have thought differently..

4. Anything that makes Madrid go past this stage, they'll probably make it 3 out of 3. And I can't have that..

5. So Zidane can be sacked grin

6. So Isco can abandon them for us.. grin

cheesy #UpPSG!

Mehn leave oooo. Although it remains to be seen, but the confidence oozing from those guys is second to none. The only thing that would separate them from the big boiz is when they show the so-called big boiz too much respect. Unless that is the case, they would hold their own against anyone presently.

5 Things are realized from RMD vs FCB.

1) sergio busquet is the most underrated player. He is easily the best midfielder in la liga, currently

2) Madrid are scared of messi. kovacic rather allowed rakitic run into the 18yard with the ball than let go of messi.

3) Messi is the brain of the team. every attack is initiated by messi

4) Ronaldo and benzema were too predictable for vermaleen and pique to pocket them.

5) Ter stergen can play midfield too

busquets started off very sloppy. he gave at least 3 sloppy passes that could have made us concede.

but he picked up later in the game.

So, I was at a shop yesterday, and the guys were arguing, why City would not win the EPL. I asked why, he said, "seems you don't know this is epl? Anything can happen. Wait till next year when they start having injury crisis"

Then I asked him, "This City team with a 14 point lead?" he gladly said yes, claiming its epl. I just kept muted biko...

I cannot coman be arguing with delusional people

Ernesto Valverde is no fraud. When we started that game, Madrid had us figured out. There was no space for Messi to run. And for every move we started, it was clear Zidane had prepared against it. We lost the midfield and defended for dear life.

2nd half, it was clear the coach told them to slow the game down. We needed to. Because they owned the midfield, we tried to pass the ball quickly out of the box or seek long range passes through the wings or by-passing the midfield directly to Suarez. It did not work. But just changing the pace of the game and forcing Madrid to play to our own pace did the trick.

All of a sudden, we stopped chasing them everywhere to win the ball nor did we pass the ball with celerity. Instead, we would take 40 secs just moving around and making them chase the ball. Before long, passages started opening and Rakitic had the space to make that darting run that freed Sergio who found Suarez.

The rest they say is history, but in the same way, history will be unkind to us if we zero down our classy second half performance against RM to luck. We were not lucky. You don't beat a team that beat you 5-1 over 2 legs just months ago, 3-0, in their own home stadium, by chance.
