The federal government has borrowed a whopping N5 trillion from the N7.3 trillion pension funds saved since the commencement of the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) in 2004. http://leadership.ng/2017/12/25/fg-borrows-n5trn-pension-funds/ 1 Like

ManirBK:Which positive stuff? Which road is good in Nigeria apart from yar dua named roads initiatives under 2.5 years he spent in Aso rock? Where is the improved rail system? Workers salaries nko? Power is now 24hrs as in Ghana and poor Uganda? Where is the proceeds from crude Oil? This government should tell the citizens where they invested money because APC is not corrupt rather against corruption. Someone started the savings for Buhari to borrow and squander. Am waiting for your one sided commentary. Who is this federal government or presidency? $1,000,000,000usdollars borrowed from excess crude Account. #5trn from pension fund. How much have this extravagant administration saved? 82 Likes 6 Shares |

Paperwhite: don't mind them. they say they have increased the foreign reserves by about $6b, yet they go behind & borrow N5trn. they just use the reserves for propaganda purposes to deceive the gullible ones. 49 Likes 1 Share |

Economic growth? Where is that? Are we now taking retrogression as growth. Finally FG has officially dipped its leprous fingers into this fund, which Buhari indirectly accessed over N2tr before election through Maina. Now he has the official power to squander a whole N5tr out of N7tr. I pity the soon would be pensioners. Keep shouting Sai Baba, your life savings for old age has been taken by buhari to service his wasteful life. 40 Likes 4 Shares |

This post is misleading, OP carefully did not complete the post. The so-called loan is investment in FGN bonds and treasury bills by the PFA. Where would you rather have the PFA invest significant portion of the Pension fund? Stocks? Bitcoin? Please mention, I will wait 11 Likes 1 Share |

It is over for Nigerians. All your savings for retirement has been squandered. All your hardwork , blood and sweat in this bad economy just wasted. Monkey de work, baboon de chop. It looks like Niger Delta oil money is not enough. Now they are digging into hardworking Nigerians savings. Anyway it's one Nigeria. 15 Likes |
